Seems to be as strong as Black Max
I was debating getting the legendary Loctite Black Max** (#380) or this newer Prism (#480) adhesive. Based on the datasheet info, I went with this Loctite #480 to repair the plastic grip on an old Amp crimping tool, mostly because this type is slightly less viscous and would coat the cracks and inperfections in the item to be bonded. After cleaning and bonding with Loctite #480, the crimp tool is back in the toolbox and useful. Warning to buyers: Wear rubber gloves, eye protection, and have adequate ventilation whenever you are using this super-superglue. Clean the surfaces with IPA and let them dry thoroughly. Allow the bond to cure for a full 24 hours before putting the item back into service. **A mechanical engineer colleague who was going through a divorce said that diamonds aren't forever, but Black Max is.

READ BEFORE ORDERING Do not buy. Solid, cured in the container upon recript.
Just received this Loctite 480. Clipped open the spout and no flow. Discovered that the glue was completely cured in the bottle as seen in the photo. (The black is solid, cured glue that filled the spout!) NOTE THAT YOU CANNOT RETURN DEFECTIVE PRODUCT AS THIS PRODUCT IS NOT QUALIFIED FOR RETURN. A COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY AND MY TIME. Uodate: Called Henkle who owns this product and directed to submit rinformation to their Customer Support email. I received a help ticket about 1 month ago but no response as yet. Disappointing.

Great glue, terrible shelf life.
I used this glue to attach neodymium magnets to wood (inside a hole), which is a tall order because the magnets are so smooth. They've held like a champ. About two months later, I went to use the glue again, and there was a tiny bit of liquid left - the rest had solidified. Don't expect to keep this glue around for very long once you've opened it.

Dries in 20s in anaerobic environment, great for quickly attaching threads

Worth every penny!
I use this for glueing rough gemstones to the dops of my gem faceter. It’s basically magic. I have also used it for mending tears in the rubber splash pan. Being a “toughened” glue makes this a perfect fit. 10/10. Will buy again

Writing this review a bit late as Iwax bus Applied thin layer to the two rubber parts , it won't dry for more than 30 minutes forget bonding , did not bond , also the bottle did not have the normal loctite seal (that means cutting of the tip) . Felt waste of money on this product , Normal loctite did the job
