A bottle of bleach sprung a leak in its bottom and ate a big hole in the wood under our kitchen sink. Our in-counter soap dispenser also leaked and bubbled the wood surface. This happened even though we had had 2 small, low-sided metal trays under some of the sink interior. The plumbing joints also leaked due to jamming rolls of paper towels, etc. under the sink. This amazing mat is super easy to install because it is so flexible. The size is great. It’s the only one I could find that was large enough to fill the space. It should prevent future problems. Expensive, but worth it. Although the company recommends putting silicone to hold it down, I found there was no need to. As soon as you put items on the mat, it lays perfectly flat and doesn’t scoot around.

This is my fourth undersink mat from Xtreme Mats if that says anything. The idea is genius! It is so necessary to protect the bottle of sink cabinets because they're usually made of MDF or some such material and, if it gets wet, they tend to buckle. I have purchased various mats over the years that you're supposed to cut-to-fit, but they never fit quite right. The fact that Extreme Mats produces undersink mats that are sized to fit most cabinets is awesome. You simply have to place it in. Granted, we did have to make a couple of small modifications for the mat we purchased for our kitchen sink because of all the plumbing, but it is far superior to any other solution. Highly recommend!

We renovated our kitchen a couple of years ago and I purchased this mat to go under the kitchen sink to protect the wood cabinets from damage in the event of a leak. I also ordered a Smart Things water sensor to place under the sink to alert me if any moisture was detected. Since that time, I have been alerted twice to moisture under the sink. Once when the pipe fitting was loose and another when our reverse osmosis tank started leaking. Both times the mat did it’s job and held the water allowing us to clean it up without damage to the cabinets. The osmosis tank leaked a large amount of water (it took an entire roll of paper towels to clean up the water) but the mat was able to hold it. I would also recommend using this with water sensors as the two together provide protection and notification to allow you to fix the leak before it becomes a bigger problem. Our kitchen contractor and the plumber we have had out to fix the issues have complimented this system and told us many other horror stories about the damage caused by leaks. I could not recommend these mats more! They are worth every penny!

Bought these for my kitchen sink and both sides of a master bathroom vanity.They fit like a glove, and are very thick / durable. Definitely not low-quality material.I just wish they made a less-deep version for my OTHER bathroom (which has a non-standard vanity cabinet) -- I'd buy more in a second.

We had a leak under our kitchen sink that damaged the cabinet base. After the re-piping was done, we opted to use a mat instead of having the entire cabinet replaced.We’re pleased with the mat and ordering them for bathroom cabinets.

We got a new dishwasher and when we prepared for the install I didn’t realize what a mess it was under the sink. This mat helped me get things clean and organized under there. Fits perfect.

I really like my mat for under the sink. It makes my cabinet look clean. I know that if the disposal leaks this mat will help contain the waste water.

Sturdy, easy to install and hides years worth of under the counter mess. Also easy to clean.

This may worked great under my sink.Flexible to get under sink. Had to cut to place around pipes and sealed with silicone.Would buy this again for under bathroom sinks

Good product. Still have to figure out how to change the shape to accommodate water pipes coming out from the bottom of the cabinet.Overpriced a bit...

They worked for under wine glass drying racks too
