Faithful repro in a classy color scheme. Flaws are few but present.
The description of the watches capabilities are well addressed so I'll focus on expectations vs reality. The face has a more metallic, reflective shade of ivory versus what you see in most static images. This isn't to say it makes the watch less aesthetically pleasing but it's worth noting. If you're expecting a matte type parchment shade, it isnt, it's tiptoeing it's way to a light gold in incredibly bright light. But it's still very pretty and matches the dark brown band and off-white stitching very nicely. The chronograph is more mechanical than the watch, and is incredibly satisfying to use. The start/stop button has a nice, audible mechanical crunch feel to the button, whereas reset is silky smooth. All functions can be accessed and used while chrono is running without fear of interruption. Also cool! The contrast between the hands and face needs a lot of improvement, it's almost indistinguishable at a glance unless one of the hands is passing over a smaller contrasting face at one of the cardinal corners.Edit: I reviewed the same item on a forum and wrote a review as well, which I've added below. This model features Eco-Drive and a day calendar indicator running on their quartz drive. The chronograph, by contrast runs on pure mechanical means and operates entirely independently of the quartz time/date function. (More on that in a moment)The watch itself features a magnified style sapphire quartz lens which has a slight distortion around the edges of the face when viewed from an angle. I don't know if this type of style has a name but in contrast with my first somewhat in depth review of my black stainless PCAT, the lens cut it definitely different. The Chronograph feature has two dedicated buttons at the top of the case on either side of the setting crown. This style, referred to as Bull-Head (Tsuno means Horns in Japanese), not only resembles the position of horns on the head of a bull but also allows left and right handed folks to operate the Chrono equally easy.Likes:The start/stop and reset buttons for the Chrono are VERY mechanical in feel and deeply satisfying to click and reset. I thought I was doing something destructive the first time I clicked the Start button. It requires less force to stop the Chrono than start it, even though it's the same button. Very cool. The instant flyback feature of the Chrono really clues you in to the fact the Chrono is a real true mechanical stop watch. The fact it features 1/5 second is just great. The leather band allows infinite customization as far as length goes, and does not require a jeweler visit to fit.Dislikes:The alarm feature is not the most modern and convenient. The alarm does not differentiate between AM and PM, and therefor if you set the alarm for 7AM it will go off at 7PM as well, and it is not accurate down to the minute as the alarm setting is done through a separate crown and dial (5 o'clock). On my photos you can note the full length alarm hand indicating a 10 o'clock alarm. The alarm is two tone and can be set to on and off by pushing on the alarm crown at 5. The alarm is based off the position of the Hour hand, and therefor can be hit or miss when it comes to accuracy, even when set to on the hour alarm settings. Also, the contrast between the hands and watch face could use some work. I know it's a special edition but still. The hands and face are indistinguishable at a glance. The watch definitely takes a little getting used to if you're comfortable with the hand appearing to be the second hand moving. The second hand most people see is in fact the Alarm hand, while the Second indicator is actually a subdial at the 3 o'clock position. If this isn't a deal breaker this is a great fashionable watch that blends classic styling and modern design and engineering.Summary:I would buy this watch again, but would consider other color schemes regardless of exclusivity simply because the one I chose is NOT the easiest face to see the hands on the dial. I enjoy the fact that I have a one of 1973 units, but will contend the white faced Tsuno Chrono Racer watches may be more functional for at a glance usability.

Great looking watch
I don’t know how many of these are left out there being a limited run but they’re a really cool watch once you have it on your wrist. This may not be an every day watch but when going out to dinner or an event this is a great time peace to have on your wrist, people notice and love it

Stunning and unusual watch.
Stunning and unusual watch. The bullhead design is a nice nod to the original from 1973, and the face really comes to life when light hits it. The watch is a little top heavy, and the clasp on the leather strap is not the most comfortable, but not nearly enough to put me off wearing this watch regularly.

.
Great watch, great service, one small critique is that the clasp on the strap is a but weak and fiddly
