Kirkland Signature Ladies’ Softshell Jacket

Holy cow, I've never tried a Costco Kirkland brand jacket before, and now I'm realizing how much I've been missing out, because this jacket is GREAT! Previously, I would have scoffed at the idea of Costco clothing....but this jacket is insane:----It's extremely warm and comfortable without bulk. If you hate looking like the kid in "A Christmas Story" this is the jacket for you.----It is true to size. I wear a Women's Medium in outerwear, and the Medium in this jacket was more than adequate.----There is enough seat coverage that you could wear this with leggings and running tights, and not feel overexposed.----The outer layer is stretchy so you can actually move.----The "fuchsia" shade is an electric orchid color---it's a dream come true. Leans more towards the blue-violet end of fuchsia, rather than the red-magenta end.----The description of the inner lining doesn't even begin to do it justice. It's not fleece like polar fleece. It's a plush, soft teddy-bear-fur, like the minky blankets they use for babies. It's a very, very nice lining. In fact, I wish I had a set of PJs made out of the fabric.----The zip pockets are DEEP and USEFUL, which is a rare thing for women's clothing. You can fit tons of stuff in the pockets.The minute I saw this jacket, I immediately went back on Amazon to look for other Kirkland jackets--because this one was so impressive, especially given the price. I definitely recommend them....

I bought this jacket for a trip to New York in March. If they had sent the size I ordered, Medium, it would have been just what I needed - the jacket is sturdy, warm, water resistant, attractive, and a great protection from the elements. Unfortunately, I received a size small, not a medium, and so was unable to wear the jacket zipped up. Very disappointing and a significant detriment to my enjoyment of an overseas trip I had been looking forward to for months. This is the first time of my dozens of Amazon orders that I received the wrong size, and I doubt very much I will ever order anything from this company again, though the quality of the jacket is excellent.

Great price for product! Really cute and good quality, cobalt & magenta are extremely vibrant! However, sizes run very large! I originally ordered a Large as I wanted a loose fit, however, the large ended up fitting my 6'2 170lb brother more than it did me. So I decided to order the medium in magenta, STILL way too big, it literally hangs off me! I usually run medium in most things, such as northface & columbia (if I want an average fit); I'm 5'5 & 130lb with a moderate to athletic build & a pear shape (w/ 32C bust). I'm now ordering a size small in black which will hopefully fit correctly as I'm certain I'm not an XS. With exception to the size this product is great! Soft fleece inner-lining (not fluffy but smooth & does not shed) and flexible polyester outer shell (have yet to wear in rain so unsure of 'water-repellent' quality). Not noisy like other soft-shell & water-resistant jackets I've tried, completely quiet. Fit is very flattering but could still be considered generic as it didn't look half bad on my brother. Tail of jacket hangs down perfectly to cover the bottom and sleeves are surprisingly snug yet maneuverable. Hood is on the tighter side and wouldn't fit over a large beanie, but a baseball cap could work. Zipper is sound and does not snag and pockets are roomy. Overall would recommend but beware of sizing!!!

I bought the red jacket in large which is size 12 to 14. For the price $14.70 and having free shipping with orders or $25, this jacket was an amazing deal. The color is vibrant and really pretty in person. It looks expensive. It is also very comfortable and soft. It washes well and it is wind resistant as described. It's water repellent to an extent but it does get wet fairly easily when water sits on it, like going outside during a light rain. I am a size 12 and for me, the large was a bit more roomier than I would have liked around my chest and waist and the sleeve length is a bit too long for me. However, it's still a nice size. It's also warm but definitely not warm enough for me during 40 degree weather. So I think it would be prefect for 50s and 60s weather. I want to buy the blue jacket for myself too, maybe in a size medium to find out if the size smaller is better. I also want to buy the fuchsia one for my mom since purple is her favorite color. Overall, it's a great jacket and one of the best jackets I've purchased on amazon.

Kirkland Signature jackets are ALWAYS great quality with a perfect fit AND the price can not be beat!This is a color from last year. They have this style again this year in other colors and I totally recommend any of them (I have black as well). However, it's $10 more than when it was in the store last year (or this). I didn't mind paying because the color is a perfect match to my kids school colors and I know I'll get many years out of it.I have a thing for Costco jackets (ok, Costco clothes in general) and this one is the best!!! Ample sleeve length, covers my bum, zipping pockets, rain proof and an incredibly cozy lining!!! I am 5ft 7in 170 lbs and the large fits with enough room for a thicker hoodie or sweater underneath....or just a tank top so I can enjoy the fact that the sleeves are also lined in the same cozy fabric!

The Medium fit as expected. 5'4 155lbs. If you want to layer this go up a size.I've commuted in the city in this jacket for 3 years and it stands up in rain, snow, and wind beautifully. The color is still very vibrant, it's like new. It is light weight ,warm , comfy and I wear it into December in new england weather.I finally had to purchase a new jacket because I gained alot of pandemic weight and couldn't live without this wardrobe staple.
