New Laptop Battery for Acer Aspire 5517 5532 5516 Fits MS2274 AS09A61 AS09A31 [Li-ion 6-cell 4400mAh]

Replacement battery for our laptop battery that decided to give up the ghost one day without warning. I am thankful that this was available and works fine.I was concerned the first time we charged it as it only indicated a life of 90 minutes which isn't very long for a laptop. However, it lasted at least twice that amount of time and the second time we charged it, the life indicator was more in line with my expectations. Now I can work for almost three hours without searching for a power source. Three hours may not seem like a normal battery life but I work my laptop hard with multiple windows, programs and image editing software all running at the same time.Overall I am pleased with my purchase and may consider picking up another one to have when we are traveling.

Been running this batt. for about 2-3 months now. I got it to replace my completely dead factory batt. It works OK, but discharges pretty fast. When it says it's 95% full and there are 2 hours 45 minutes, be prepared for a dead batt. within 1 hour. On the flip side, it takes a long time to charge back up, in comparison to how fast it discharges. Better than the dead batt. it replaced, but for how long, we will see.UPDATE: I changed my rating from 3 to 5 because this is an awesome deal. I think after I exorcised it for a few charges it started holding a charge longer. Can't beat the price either. Go for it!

I love the price I paid for it for one thing because if you try to find these at your local retailer they charger at least over 60 to 80 dollars. This one here says it will last at least a full year amd if you want one that last two years and just a little longer battery run time the you may want to see the other model that costs about $ 20. MORE. I had Acer laptop for over two years and just now replaced it the battery. I really believe this battery is slightly better than the one it came it charges faster . Shipping said 2 weeks but came in 4 days from the CA Bay Area and sealed in magnetic pouch good packing. I would purchase again..

I had been looking around for awhile for a laptop battery and they are so expensive and I did not know what I know what I was going to do when you are on a strict budget most of you know how that is. Then, all of a sudden my brain worked and I remembered Amazon for more then games and looked for my battery and they they did have it at a good price and I have been very happyever since and I would do it again if need be.

I have an Acer Aspire 5532, this battery fit 100% perfectly with no effort at all to insert with a small click into place. I set the battery settings as described in the package insert used initially until battery died completely before fist charge. After first complete charge my battery lasted 1 1/2 hr wireless unplugged and continues now to stay charged 1 hour and 15minutes- 1 hour. I am completely satisfied and would recommend this battery to anyone. Saved me a ton of money as well, Staples had 2 models to pick from a $49.99 and a $59.99 so thank you for saving me at least $35.00 and sent it free to my house.

My laptop began reporting a failing battery,my first reaction was, "OH NO this is gonna cost me an arm and a leg"BUT, I went shopping anyway. and found this battery for what I considered to be a VERY affordable price.it arrived about 2 weeks ago, and I installed it immediately.As Far As I Can Tell, this battery has AT LEAST as high a capacity as the original battery did when new,and it seems to me that I am getting considerably more usage between charges than I did when the computer was new.the only unknown at this point is how long the battery lifespan will be.

Not good ,it didn't work without plugging it,
