Gola harrier was originally created in 1968 and was suitable for a variety of sports and general training. Harrier is one of gola's most iconic and revered styles having been produced in hundreds of different colour combinations, today it remains one of the best loved women's trainer designs. It turns out my mum was a visionary, years ahead of her time and if I'd only have listened back then who knows what direction my life would've gone in? Nothing makes me prouder of my British heritage then slipping my feet into this out and out classic. These days matched only by the mighty Hi-Tec Silver Shadow, nothing stirs nostalgic thoughts better then the trainers we wear and these are certainly worthy of 5 stars. Forget your Nikes, Reebok, adidas and the like Gola is the real deal.

Tight fitting
A lovely pair of shoes. However I am a size 9 and I knew as I put these on they were tight for me. I ordered a size 10 and the fit perfectly. So I suggest going one size up.

Retro cool - get some!
Had a bee in my bonnet for a few weeks about getting some Gola trainers. Got to the basket loads of times on these and another pair, wondering whether to do it (they are, after all, a bit of a treat at the price) and cancelled loads of times! Absolutely chuffed that I did the deed eventually. Some reviews questioned the quality, but I used to work as a QI and can say that these definitely passed muster. Size 8 ordered, perfect fit. Very stylish. Very comfortable. Can't wait for the white leather ones to arrive in a few days' time.

Gola mens harrier sneakers
The shoes arrived on time and would have been great but I was sent the wrong size; I ordered a US9 but received a US10 so I have had to return them for a refund.
