BoschOxygen Sensor - 13544

Bosch Sensors did not work like the Denso sensors did. They did not last as long for what ever reason. I ran them for maybe 40000 miles and that maybe good for some but the 2 sets of Denso's went the other 150000 mile and still running fine. I like Bosch products just wont use them again on my Pontiac Vibe.

Installed in my 2001 Lexus LS430 without any surprises. Appears to be very high quality part. After 30-miles, it's working correctly, and solved the P0155 CEL code (a bad heater circuit on Bank 2 Sensor 1.) The job was fairly challenging due to the part's location in the exhaust manifold, but was possible without any special heroics. Here are the steps:1) Jack the car up so you can reach engine freely from underneath.2) Remove both plastic skirts from the under the engine & tranny. (When done, re-install with screwdriver to avoid stripping plastic seats.)3) Locate the failing upstream O2 sensor.4) Pop connector off its metal mount. A very small flat screwdriver will work to lift the latch. Once loose, you can squeeze the release button on the connector and tug the wires on the bad sensor side until she separates.5) Now use a small set of needle nose pliers to release the cable clip. Don't break it, as you can re-use it.6) Finally, soak the bad sensor with penetrating oil, give it time to work, and use an O2 sensor socket to pull the part. It was easiest to turn the socket using a 1" wrench, and not a ratchet! You reach it from the side.7) Install the new O2 sensor after transferring the clip to the correct location...don't over-tighten. Perform above steps in reverse order.8) Reset CEL code.

Worked great! Both oxygen sensors fit and check engine light is now off! Will order other oxygen sensors for my other vehicles.

I have just a stock 5 speed 2003 Vibe, and this is the O2 sensor that is under the hood, on the manifold before the Catalytic Converter. Price was half of Autozone, and worked just fine. Don't forget you'll need a O2 sensor socket set to change these! The special sockets have slits cut into them to allow the wires to pass through-- we couldnt' figure out any other tool that would do the job, and we tried for about 2 hours. :) I grabbed that locally (autozone) for $25, about $5 cheaper than I could find online.

I bought this for a direct replacement for the front O2 sensor on a 2004 Pontiac Vibe. Replacement was easy and it fixed the problem. A couple of side notes: 1. It came with anti-seize already on the threads, which is a good thing. 2. I also bought a deep well O2 sensor removal tool that proven to be worthless, since there isn't enough room between the sensor and the firewall. I just used an adjustable wrench and I worked just fine.It's only been in the car for a couple of months, so I can't comment on the long term durability.

This is the correct fit for the vibe 5 speed, but not the vibe GT 6 speed. The GT uses 2 of the exact same O2 sensor and they should include the rubber grommet because both are replaced from the passenger side under neath the car directly in front and behind of the catalytic converter which is not the same as the regular vibe. Do not buy this one if you have a GT. I had to buy an additional Bosch 15290 Oxygen Sensor which is a little more expensive after I installed the first one.
