Protec Trumpet Rectangular PRO PAC Case with Mute Storage Compartment, Model PB301 Black

I love the case, except I may soon not be able to open or close it. One of the two main zippers broke a few months ago, and now the second (and final!) main zipper is bending. I've had this case for less than two years. I'm gentle with it. What's going on?

I was looking for a single trumpet case that also holds mutes. This will hold my cup mute, straight, Harmon, and my trumpet stand plus a place for two mouth pieces. Then there is a zipper enclosed side pocket that I put in my music glasses, valve oil and a very light jacket in. Also a small zipper pocket inside the bigger one with a place for a pencil.

This is my second Pro Tec case. The solid inserts make this a must have for anyone who needs to replace an old case and/or use for a "gig bag" but with the solid inserts this makes for a pretty much bulletproof travel case, and the strap hardware attachments and zippers are all nicely overbuilt and solid.The trumpet case with storage easily accommodates my horn, 2 mouthpieces, and 4 mutes in the internal compartment, all snug and secure, just make sure to keep polishing cloths or hand cloths in the storage area to keep the mutes from denting each other.

It snugly fit my trumpet (1984 C. G. Conn Director model 18B). I was able to include both my mutes with room for another mute, something I couldn't do with the old vacuum formed case my horn came with. The side pouch does have room for music, so long as it's not a large fake book or a hard binder. (So, no storing your Arban's in the case.It only has two spots for mouthpieces, so if you have three (like I do), you'll have to get something to protect the third mouthpiece. And it does have that "smell" that others complained about. I haven't yet tried wiping it down with a drier sheet, but the smell isn't that strong.Overall, I do recommend this case. I've chucked the old case, as it was falling apart. Now I just need to get a new trumpet. :D

Case is nice and will hold everything you need including mutes. However, it’s way to large for regular use. It like carry around luggage without the wheels. Reduce the size please. I need a case but May send this one back.

My son was reluctant to replace his original King Trumpet Case with something new. His original case, passed down from Grandma, had a lot of storage space and was built very nicely. However, the handle and hinges finally gave out and we had to cave and replace it. He has been pleasantly surprised with the storage space in this case, and, bonus, it is so much lighter than his old case.

This is beautifully designed trumpet case. It is manufactured to very high quality standards. The wood frame gives the case excellent protection without it being overly bulky or heavy. It comes with straps and very comfortable velcro’d handles. I have a custom trumpet that never came with a case and have been looking for a compact, well padded case that I could carry a couple mutes, music, some basic supplies and my mouthpiece case and a couple that I play regularly. This case checked all those boxes in a very well padded and compact case with the added bonus of having a weather proof exterior shell. The built-in outside zipped pocket is also very useful. It can easily store pens, pencils, cleaning cloth, additional cleaning supplies, etc. I have owned a backpack style Protec trumpet case for use when I travel. After hours of researching for the perfect case, I ended up with another Protec for their quality, durability and design. They might be a few dollars more than others on the market, but they are well worth the price. All in all, I am very happy with my new Protec case and can wholeheartedly recommend it.

I love the rigidity of this protect case. It was purchased for a Vintage Conn long cornet and fits perfectly. The rigid sides protect the cornet. It’s a very good case.

Bought for my Stomvi 250ML Harmonically Enhanced Trumpet. The large bottom caps wean many cases do not fut the trumpet, yet this in perfect. Amazing protection as well as music storage and accessory storage - ample space inside. Highly recommend, although isn't a cheap case.

As with any of the other Protec products I have purchased, this case is exceptional in quality of build, rugged construction and efficient design. I will use this to transport my trumpet or cornet as needed. Please note that this will not fit your cornet unless you remove the foam piece located under the location of the cornet valves. It requires some patience to remove but once you have removed you will have a case that fits trumpet or cornet. I have both so needed a case the would fit either one. A great case that will last a very long time.
