I was quoted $80 to get my dad's zte battery changed. I decided I could do it myself. This battery is amazing. It improved the life and it made my phone a little faster. There is nothing bad to say. The tools were so helpful because the ZTE phone is a little complicated to put batteries in. I recommend. Watch a youtube video to help u assemble

My phone was useless, battery drained and would not charge. To be honest, I don't know if it was the battery or the charge port, so I changed out both. This battery is now holding a charge better than when it was brand new. I am very impressed with this battery. It was also not too hard to change. If you are not very, very confident in your ability to almost completely take your phone apart and put it back together without damaging it, don't do this. However, if you are confident, this will work well for you.

Well, the operation of replacement was more difficult than anticipated.The phone really isn't made for consumer repair. Tiny, thin cables tear easily and I lost some phone function. Otherwise, the battery & tools worked fine and phone is usable.

Comes with all the tools you will need to replace, except I would recommend you also use a putty scraper to pry the back of the original battery off the phone. The battery from the factory is held in place with 2 sided tape adhesive on the back, you will need some sort of thin scraper to pry the old battery off the phone. Other than that, this new battery kit comes with everything you will need to replace your old battery with a new one.New battery works just like the original, holds its' charge a long time. Have had no issues since replacing. And a fraction of the cost of replacing the entire phone.

My phone is holding a charge extremely well,. I just finished going through the 3 full depletion/charge cycles as recommended. Read as many of the review as you can for tips. And you have to watch a couple of videos and have one video in front of you as you do it. You need a good work surface with perhaps a white or light colored pillow case on it so you catch all the little screws. And good lighting is a must. Remove the sim card first. All the tools are included. I did use an old credit card for awhile like I saw on one video. Pry gently and go slowly especially if it isn't coming apart like you think it should. The back of the phone on mine was taped to the innards so it wasn't a quick pop-off. I used a hair dryer a couple of times to help with removing parts from the tape. Last, I thank one reviewer that said he broke a plastic part because he didn't find the screw under the white seal. There it was on mine (the last of the 12 screws) and it was holding me up. But I was prying very gently and knew not to go hog wild. It's all back together and looks like new.

The original battery in my ZTE Zmax Pro lasted about 3 years then wouldn't keep a charge for very long. So I bought this battery to replace it. I don't believe this replacement batteries are even new batteries. They are worthless. It lasted only a few months before it was worse than the original old battery. Now it won't even last for 2 minutes without being plugged into the charger if the 4G radio is on. In airplane mode with the radio off you might get 20 minutes max. It goes from %100 to %70 in minutes and then the phone powers off. You plug it back in and the phone says it still has a 75 to 80% charge but you unplug the charger and it powers off again.

The Z981 has all the functions I want and the size is perfect for me. But the battery life stinks. I watched several youtube videos and dared it. Be careful on the screen side you can easily mistaken it and ruin the screen. I stared at it for several minutes. But got it. It immediately charged to 100% and its day two and so far so good. Let's see how long this lasts. But it saved me a ton of money compared to buying a new phone. So at the present moment I am happy.

This works perfectly. I had a Z981 since 2017 and the battery started running out very quick, within 5 minutes. I thought it's necessary to replace the battery. So I ordered this. It's arrived before the expected date, and it fit perfectly my Z981. My phone runs normal now.Thanks a lot. I recommend to anybody who has a Z981 to give it a try.
