It's very soft, will definitely not scratch your switch screen, the Triforce is very nicely done, the ONLY downside is if you have a dockable case on your switch, this will make it to thick, and it will not fit with a case. I don't have a case on mine, so it doesn't bother me, but I know a lot do.

Recently bought a Switch OLED and quickly became worried about screen scratching. Ordered the gray one with the Hyrule shield on it. Fits great and provides the protection I wanted. Very soft also.One thing to note, I use a HORI split pad pro and found that I could not leave them attached to the screen while docking with this sock on. The sock widens the dock just enough to cause an issue because the split pad pro grips do not sit flush with the screen. Slight inconvenience but not faulting the product.

This is my first Switch. I had to buy it from a third party seller, & I was so afraid of scratching it, I just didn't hook it up until now. I thought it was great as a handheld, but now I see its real potential...This is tight at first,just carefully stretch it over and pull it down over the dock.The material inside is thin but soft, and yes the outside is slightly padded.My switch still has plenty of space in the dock,and the Nintendo characters are vibrant,just as pictured.I don't think it will cause the switch to get warmer than normal. I think not playing all day probably helps that.I like that I can use the real dock and not worry about trying to find a 3rd party dock replacement that might " brick my switch "This is a great product!Now they just need to invent better controllers...

Well you don't really need it but if you are worried about scratching your switch whenever docking it in the dock, you're going to need this. There are other cheaper options I used, but this one is by far the best. It fit snug and definitely protects the screen from any scratches and actually makes it smoother to take the switch in and out of the dock! There are many other designs for these dock covers by ActivePatch. That is the company that produces these quality switch dock covers. You can buy multiple designs and if you go on their website, you can upload and print out your own image to be on the cover as well!!! It's a must buy especially if your dock is bent inwards and you're worried about permanent scratches or if you want to add design to your switch.

Super cute! Ordered it as (last minute cough cough, I'm guilty) Christmas gift for a relative who has a Switch. It fit perfectly on the Switch and it'll definitely will protect against any scuffs or roughness to the screen. He does already have a tempered glass screen protector on his Switch, but honestly, you can never go wrong with more protection, especially when it's CLASSIC MARIO GUYS. Plus it's so dang cute and spiffs up the Switch A++++, and did I mention the nostalgia-inducing classic Mario pattern?! As for the stitching and quality, definitely well made! All the seams were in place and didn't feel like it was going to rip or unravel, and the fabric pattern didn't have any misprints or anything. This was something I was confused about earlier, but while the title does say "Padded", the cover isn't padded to the point of making the dock look fat or awkward. It's just padded enough to slip right on and not stick out weirdly.Overall really happy with the purchase, these make perfect gifts for Switch-lovers who want to protect their precious plastic babies. Will definitely buy covers from them again if I need to get anyone else a little cover for their Switch!
