The Original Cushy Closer Door Cushion (Birch-Pink)

My daughter (2) INSISTS on closing doors even if she actually wants to be in the particular room, so I end up following her around and opening doors all day, but not anymore! This allows her to still physically shut the door but also open it back up without help. Then if I need her to stay out of a particular room, I can easily slip one side over the handle and it's back to regular use. I love this thing!

The door to my daughter’s nursery is annoyingly loud when you shut it and this little door latch pillow buddy works wonders when you’re trying to lay your baby down and then quietly tip-toe like h*ll without waking the small tornado!

I love these!!! I have used (and still use!) them for all of my girls over the last 9 years! I love to gift these to expecting moms! They make it so easy to quietly sneak out of a little one’s room! Certainly these aren’t a necessity, but nice to have!

Putting a baby to bed is a nightmare. Putting a baby to bed and then accidentally waking up the baby with door noise or other sounds is devastating. I didn’t think my door would still close with this on it, but it does. It kind of wedges shut (all the way) with the fabric. And it’s silent. Easy fix.

These are easy to use and come in cute patterns. They definitely help protect little ones from squishing fingers between the door and jamb - especially when you have more than one running around opening and closing doors near each other! 😅🤣 /"Playing chase" in the house 🤪😅 They are so helpful for the whole family to open and close doors with hardly any noise at all! The only way that might be quieter is if you tape the latch of the knob to the door so it doesn't move at all. Added bonus: little ones who are mobile (crawling or walking) but are not yet adept enough to turn the knob to open a closed door, will not get trapped in a room with a closed door. They can pretty easily just pull the door open because the cushion keeps the knob's latch from engaging/catching in the door jamb like usual. So, you can close their door all the way at nap time for quiet, cozy rest and when they wake up they do not get upset because they can come search for you! ❤️I just wish they were made with more durable materials. 😓😣 They are just cotton. A strong canvas or upholstery type material would be more durable, but possibly not quite as quite or flexible. 🤔 They still work, but tear open , exposing the cushion material - moreso if there is any roughness to the striking plate on the door jamb or if it is too close. Also, the elastic does stretch out a bit over time. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ But, we have been using these on our bedroom doors for about 3 yrs now and they still work. 😅 So, I bought some more for other doors (laundry room, bathroom, new nursery) in our new house, because they work! I also wish they still made more of the cute animal patterns for little ones like they did a few years ago. 🤗

I like how thick this is. I have another one from a different company that was super thin and it's not as quiet but this one is great. Even if you try to slam the door, it still keeps it quiet.

I love to sleep with the windows open, but the winds where we live make the closed doors rattle so much that they wake me and the pups up. I've tried doorstops and draft guards to minimize the noise to no avail and end up just closing the windows. I know it sounds like an ad or Shark Tank but....until now! I bought one for our bedroom door and, wow, it really works! No noise, no rattling, no waking up, no dogs barking from the wind. I bought one for each of our doors that rattle in the wind, and yes, it's amazingly quiet. Such a simple thing, but it really works!
