I bought this remote for use on a Samsung UN60H7150 60" LED smart TV from 2014, I compared it to the AA59-00558A official Samsung remote control that it is based off of (See pictures).The 3rd party remote has a very slightly firmer button press, and the button to light up the remote only lights up the volume and channel buttons, but is brighter than the official remote. Out of the box, it worked perfectly fine with my Samsung TV, and did not require any programming to use. Uses 2 AAA batteries just like the official remote as well. Build quality feels identical to me. Visually the only real difference is the lack of Samsung branding on the remote.It does exactly what you need it to do, be a replacement for the original, but cheaper.

Product did not work for me. Didn’t come with instructions so I googled how to connect it and it never worked.

It took me less than 5 minutes to sync to my TV. Most of my time was spent reading how-to sync. The sync only took seconds

This unit appears to function in full compliance with the original remote which was lost. The design appears identical so any issues with the layout or ease of use would be attributable to the original Samsung design.

It was so frustrating when our original remote stopped working. I hadn’t realized that it would be so simple to replace it! So happy to have it again.

We only need this remote to switch to Amazon Prime…..used it about 3 times and now the down button won’t work so it’s useless!
