The app for the Spro 2 projector is terrible and hasn't been updated in 3 full years, since I've owned the thing. Normally, when I was watching Netflix alone it was fine but when anyone was with me they'd all ask what was taking so long to stop or start a movie. I'd just gotten used to having to struggle with even the basic tasks. I'd consider getting the remote for it but the reviews for the official ZTE projector remote said it was junk and didn't work once an app like Netflix was running.Then I came across this remote. Although the reviews and questions never mention a projector I thought I'd try it. OMG... I thought I'd burst into tears! Push a tiny little dongle (1/8 of an inch) into the USB port and a cursor appears on screen to click on apps! That would have been enough but you can not only click to launch but hit pause buttons, go back to home button works. The gyros in the remote allow you to click/hold and motion with your hand to sort/scroll through 1000's of Netflix movies... starting and stopping at will. When the remote goes to sleep, a quick button push not only lights the remote keys but wakes things up immediately to quickly pause the movie. To make things more outrageous you can pick your color lighting or flip your remote over to use a fairly large keyboard to enter passwords or usernames. I can't comment yet on battery life I'm just amazed this remote updates my projector SO much... it will change the way I do things from now on and that is exciting.

Ill sometimes turn on the remote and on my PC it will randomly open a windows page that i've never even seen before or sometimes when Im watching a show on MPC-HC, itll randomly turn off the subtitles when I switch on the remote.At one point my remote kept blinking which it does when the battery is low. I charged it until the point where it wouldn't charge anymore. I bought a new battery (uses a nokia battery which is helpful for buying a replacement) and it was doing the same thing. In the end, it was blinking because it wasn't connecting to a device. I had to unplug the bluetooth adapter and replug it. So if someone else gets this issue, try replugging the bluetooth adapter before purchasing a new battery :)The keyboard has some sort of sensor that makes it difficult to type with without holding it a certain way.Otherwise, The remote does it's job for watching videos in bed and such. Would be nicer if you could move the cursor with the arrow keys or something instead of pointing but it gets the job done.

i used this for my computer, the functionality is good but the problem is after my computer goes into sleep mode, the remote disconnects and i have to unplug the usb and plug it back in for it to recognize it again. ive searched for settings i could possibly change and tried a few i found on the web but nothing seems to solve this issue.

The battery lasted 16 months on a single charge, by switching it off when i’m not using it. And I use this remote every day. Works great!

I bought 3 of these and all of them are junk. Worked great for 2 weeks. All 3 wont take a charge and will not connect no matter what you do.

Bought it for voice actavaion, could not get it to useing my old remote

Unit stoped working after 3 weeks. Something about the USB device becoming corrupt. I installed it on different usb slots, still go no avail.
