Eheim quality
Extremely happy that these are still made and sold. My axle had chipped and was making an irritating noise before it eventually snapped during cleaning. If Eheim didn't still make them, I'd have needed an entirely new filter. Do be careful, they are very fragile.

Fixed my hot tub!!!
I'm far from mechanical, so I really bought this out of desperation in an attempt to fix our SaluSpa Helsinki Inflatable Hot Tub. We've been using the hot tub for a year and it just stopped working with an E02 error. I watched a bunch of youtube videos about how to troubleshoot the error, and nothing worked. Finally, everyone kept mentioning that typically the ceramic rod within the impeller breaks or gets worn. With the pandemic and all the shutdowns, finding parts was a bit difficult. With a 4 year old desperate for her pool back, I bought this on a whim hoping it would work. Actually, I bought this and a full impeller set hoping anything would work. This fits perfectly! The rod I had wasn't broken, but it was definitely worn. So, I swapped it anyway, closed it up, and prayed to the pool gods that it would work when I plugged it in. I held my breath as I pushed the heating button and boom! It was working!!! No more E02 error. I'm so thrilled with myself. So, I bought 2 more of these, just to have them already on hand for the next time I need a new rod.

Perfect replacement
Put my 15+ year system back in business, only down for a bit over 24 hours, so great shipping. It is made of ceramic, so... use caution. It is strong and durable in it's designed use and purpose, but handle with care so you do not need to learn how fast they can be replaced...

Keep a Spare!
It was the right part for the job. If you have one of these filters, I would recommend having an extra one of these on hand. Luckily for me, the a store nearby had one in stock when I broke mine so this is now my spare. They're not too hard to break and it's almost impossible to glue it back together and make the filter work. Keep a spare!

Works great...but be gentle, they are brittle.
Got my Eheim 2213 working again. Be careful with these as they are made of ceramic and extremely brittle. I was inspecting the impeller on my filter and just a bit too much pressure in one direction and "snap" the axle broke clean in half. Be gentle installing these and they'll last for years.

Does not fit 2213
This does not fit the eheim 2213 as advertised. The axel that came with my filter was thinner and shorter. Not even worth returning because getting charged 5$ to return it.

For the heavy handed oafs out there
I still don't know how I managed to snap the original shaft for this impeller, but the replacement fit like the original and the filter is back in business. I bought two just in case I get clumsy again.

Keep these spare parts on hand
The ceramic shaft is as easy to break as glass. I recommend all Eheim users of 2213, Classic, or 250 models keep a spare on hand because it's so easy to break during cleaning. If it does break, your pump is dead until you can get another one.
