I love the stove. I've been doing hair for over 42 years, and they were hard to find; I was so happy to find this stove. I know everybody is doing the flat irons, but this stove right here is what I need, and it does a significant job. It heats up those pressing comb and curling irons fast. Even though I don't do hair anymore professionally, I try to do my own when I can. This stove is good to have. Two thumbs up. The price is incredible

So I wanted this for a very untraditional non cosmetic use and it went well above expectations. If it did not meet my needs then I was going to get hot combs for my wife and daughters to use and pretend that I never intended to get it for this. For the woodworkers out there who are tired of using torches to heat up their wood branding irons, this does the trick. Very well I might add. I did add a wire to suspend the brand to the center for a more even heat as the iron was getting too hot when sitting on the ceramic element. It heats a brand very evenly. It takes about 10-15 minutes give or take to heat it to brand wood properly. But that is time that I don’t have to stand there with a torch. I could not afford a fancy expensive electric brand and for the money this saves me a ton of time with better results with my original hand branding iron. I would very well recommend it to any woodworker looking to warm up their branding irons and that want to break away from using torches.
