Circulon Chefs Casserole 26 cm – Induction Non Stick Chef's Pan with Toughened Glass Lid – Hard Anodized Aluminium Cookware – Induction, Oven and Dishwasher Safe

I have had the whole Circulon Infinity range for over 8 years, very happy with it. However, I now find the pots and pans heavy to move around and I am gradually replacing with lighter Circulon as I do cook a lot. I flirted for a while with other lighter and cheaper pots and pans, but they had no longevity as the non-stick did not last well, even though I use wooden and plastic cooking spoons. Upon researching I came across the lighter circular range and, as it is no longer important to have perfectly matching pots and pans, I pick and choose the ones I need, provided the ones that are within eyesight are black, with the Circulon slightly raised heating surface. I have been surprised by the huge Circulon range, from very heavy (Infinite range) to a red, lighter Stir Fry pan. I am now building my Circulon range based on my needs. I have evaluated the cost effectiveness, but although much more expensive than some, I have come back to Circulon for its quality and longevity. I can report that that the Circulon Generic Hard Anodised 26 cm Chef's Casserole - Black fulfils my needs. The base sits well on my ceramic hob. The interior has slightly rounded sides, making it ideal when sitr-frying or sautée(ing) vegetables. I also think that it could double-up as a wok in an emergency as I think that it would be ideal for stir frying Chinese noodles: Due to the shape of the pot, the noodles will naturally fall back into the bottom of the pan (but perhaps with a little help). I have used it to sauté Purple Sprouting Broccoli and to make a curry. I have used a cloth and hot water to wash it after use, and conditioned it with a little amount of cooking oil well rubbed in with kitchen paper. I would definitely recommend Circulon for being well-made, sturdy (even the lighter ranges) and for having a superior non-coating surface. I had had a lifetime of evaluating non-stick pots and pans!

I've been after a pan that I could use on my induction stove top and in the oven. This fits in the oven just nicely, and works well on the hob. Having two handles makes it very easy to pour contents out, for example, if transferring to a slow cooker. The non-stick wipes down and cleans very easily, its actually the glass lid that is hardest to clean, although even this just needs a bit of a soak and a wipe down. Overall, this is a very useful pan that could also be used as a wok or for shallow frying smallish items (wouldn't go as far as pancakes - bottom is a little too curved for that). Incidentally, I've found that the lid also fits my Circulon wok. I haven't put this in the dishwasher, but then the surface cleans so easily I haven't needed to. I purchased this through Warehouse Deals and the item was in perfect condition, so a good saving there too.

Wonderful Casserole/wok.It needs less oil, excellent cooking and cleaning it is so easy. This is my everyday wok, been using it for 6 months without any complaints.Its little big for my small dishwasher to fit in properly but it washes up so easily that I have no complaints. Yes the handles & the lid holder do get hot but not extremely hot and I suppose adding anything else will not make it ovenproof. Hope it last for years to come and its not a cheap buy.

The circulon pan is excellent. It is light to carry, highly non-stick and tough with it. The pan can be used on most hob types and also under the grill and in the oven. Only slight issue is that the handles do get hot when pan is used on the hob. Recommended.ProsHigh quality and multi-purpose pan for the price.Well made. The non-stick surface combined with the ridged effect makes then highly non-stick and robust. I have never had a circulon pan where the non-stick surface peels.Lasts an age. The lid fits well and has a steam hole and is easy to clean.Easy to clean.Light compared to many. Given how hardy this pan is it is light to carry compared to many others.ConsNoneHints and tipsIt is good to just re-season it now and again. Just rub it with some cooking oil and heat it for a miute and then wipe clean.

Very good quality. Looks smart abs easy to clean. No long handles makes it easy to put in the dishwasher and store. Love it !

Great little casserole, perfect for a medium family. I've consistently been impressed with the performance and endurance of Circulon non-stick and while it's too early to say on endurance, the casserole has a reasonable weight, distributes heat pretty evenly and feels solidly made.

Good quality that also look good. I debated paying double for another brand but I am glad I settled on Circulon. I am sure with sensible use, I will get many years of enjoyment out of this pot.

Highly recommend this cooking pot it’s not too big and not too small. Enough to cook a meal for a family of 5. I stumbled upon this as I use círculon bake ware which is pretty good.Only minus is that the handles and lid get very hot and have no protective rubber so you have to use a mit to open the lid whilst cooking.

Ich bin - wie auch schon beim Pfannenset - total begeistert. Da macht das Kochen noch mehr Spaß!
