XTOOL X100 Pad2 Pro with KC100 Key Programmer Engine/EPB/TPS/Oil Rest Full System OBDII Diagnostic Tool Work for VW 4th and 5th Immo

This this is amazing. I've been able to program keys for just about any vehicle I have tried with it. Without tokens.It does have its issues though but for the money I can overlook them. For instance under some of the programming options it does not have a setting for my 2018 Chevy Colorado, but it does have a setting for a 2018 GMC Canyon with is identical to the Colorado and it worked fine.With the $900 I paid for it, it has already paid for itself as I did not have to use my other programmer that requires tokens.Also it should be noted these come with zero tech support at $900 they couldn't afford to. But it does take updates regularly and they are free for 3 years.My other programmer originally cost me $5000 and requires tokens, its now collecting dust.

This is a locksmith, and a mechanic must-have tool. As a locksmith, I have many other programmers, as each programmer does specific car models. Also, many other very expensive programs are very costly not only to buy them but also to use them, as each time we use the programmer, we have to pay an average of $40 for each key program process.This programmer saved me a lot and replaced all the other mini programmer.Regardless these products perform well; I did have to return it within a week as the Pad shutoff and was not able to charge the battery. However, I did order a replacement product. I also recommended purchasing the warranty as I feel like this is not a stable long ran use product.

So far I am very satisfied with the quality and functionality of this tool. I have only used it on 1 vehicle so far (05 Honda CRV). It worked flawlessly to add a key, and read and erase codes on that vehicle. I am a little concerned about the main (OBD2) connector on the tool because it seems a little delicate for the heavy/stiff cable used in a shop environment. I will probably devise some kind of stress relief for that. Also I have ordered a tempered glass screed protector for it. It uses the internet via WiFi to give details/probable cause, on a particular fault code. I like that feature. As I said I have only had the tool a short time, with limited use. As with anything time will tell for sure. But I feel very good about the durability of this tool.

I’ve tried to contact the manufacturer about the product and with no help they tell me to contact amazon and now it’s too late to return it. I haven’t been able to program a single key that I’ve been hired to program. I feel like I’ve been duped with a fraud product. For almost 1000 dollars no less. It’s supposed to program keys and when it says jeep keys and come to find out it’s only 3 models of jeeps they don’t make anymore that’s a huge problem. Wow. I still can’t believe it

I received the 2nd unit as the first one didn't turn on anymore. this unit works with my 2015 infiniti Q70. I can look at fault codes and erase fault codes.But It does not connect to the car to program keys!!! I'm returning the 2nd unit.Alex

Had issues with a few features. Sent email for clarification, with negative response. Returned is promptly. Won't recommend.
