If I could do it all over again, I would get the small version without the EQ built in to it. The pedal definitely has some unique sounds, but the 'out there' sounds that I bought it for are a little over the top for my taste. I probably would not miss the pedal if I got rid of it, but I am kind of a pedal junky, so I will probably keep it to have a crazy sound in my arsenal. If you are wanting a very harsh, 'alternative' sound, this pedal will definitely get you there. I would say that the multi-band setting has that 'Switchfoot' crunch on steroids, with an abrasive top end. At least with the EQ, I think you can tame it a little bit, but the pedal in this format is so large that it really takes up more space on your pedalboard than it is worth.
