Exceeded my expectations. Excellent product
Ive been using this in my Baleno for over 3 months now. So far, ive faced no issues at all. The video quality is soo good. Its way more better than i expected during the day. But in the night time, it may get a bit grainy if theres no good lighting. But for the price of 3.5k, its torally worth it. If i had to nit pick any cons, that would be the app which is a little buggy and sometimes it wont connect to the camera. As its a software problem, it can be fixed. Its not at all a deal breaker. Other than that, im fully satisfied.

Decent as a dash cam for the price
Great price. Best dash cam at 3850rs. Pros: 1. Decent quality. However you need to be within 10-15 feet to capture number plates. 2. Records in 1min files which are 60mb each at 1080p. 32gb sd can record a total of 8hr drive. 3. Wifi connectivity is fast. 4. Wires provided are good quality. Everything in the box is good quality. 5. Had parked the car in 45degree direct sun. It was recording flawlessly. 6. It can be tucked neatly behind the central rvm and the sounds can be switched off and no one would notice the dash cam. Cons: 1. Forget capturing number plates during dusk and dawn. Clarity at 780p is bad although saves card space. 2. To download the recorded content you will need to view the entire duration. No selection option of the files available. Card cannot be taken out easily. Download option only via app. 3. The sensor quality isn't at par with even low end branded action cameras. Creates blurred output at very dark place. 4. Skips frames a lot while recording and downloading. 5. To copy all recorded data one needs a card reader. 4. Hiding the wires is a tough job (without hardware kit). A professional work is needed for a flawless installation. 5. Frame skips amd also downloading is a big hassle. 6. The emergency recording is very very sensetive and needs to be switched off as it detects crash level jerks even at low sensitivity when going over speed breakers at 5kmph. Final.word: 3.8k is good price.. Dash cams are very very useful during any unfortunate incidents. It's a great buy.

A Comprehensive Review of the Dash Cam: Highlighting Critical Issues
A Comprehensive Review of the Dash Cam: Highlighting Critical Issues In this review, I will be examining the performance and functionality of the dash cam. Although it has several promising features, there are some critical issues that need to be addressed. I hope that by sharing my experiences, the manufacturer will take notice and take the necessary steps to rectify these problems. Upside-Down Video Recording and Re-Orientation: One of the significant issues I encountered with the dash cam is its peculiar behavior during startup. The camera records videos upside down and then re-orients them properly. The support team's response, claiming that it is a normal behavior, is concerning. This behavior suggests a potential bug in the G sensor or software, which needs immediate attention. This issue not only impacts user experience but may also result in difficulties in reviewing footage during emergencies. Night Time Recording and License Plate Visibility: Another critical flaw in the dash cam's performance is its inadequate night time recording. During low-light conditions, such as night driving, the camera fails to capture license plates clearly. This deficiency severely undermines the primary purpose of a dash cam โ to provide clear and detailed evidence in case of accidents or other incidents. Improved low-light recording capabilities are imperative for enhancing the overall utility and reliability of the product. During daytime, the number plates are visible even when other vehicles are in close proximity. Single Power Outlet in USB Charger: The inclusion of only one power outlet in the USB charger provided with the dash cam is limiting and impractical. In most vehicles, drivers and passengers require multiple power sources to charge their devices simultaneously. This oversight creates inconvenience and restricts the dash cam's potential as an integrated part of a comprehensive in-car solution. A dual-port USB charger or an alternative power solution would greatly enhance the dash cam's appeal and usability. Audio Recording Quality: On a positive note, the audio recording quality of the dash cam is commendable. Clear audio recordings can be crucial in capturing essential details during incidents or conversations inside the vehicle. The manufacturer should be praised for this aspect of their product. DDPAI App Functionality: The DDPAI app's performance for connecting to the dash cam and downloading videos is satisfactory. Its user-friendly interface makes accessing footage relatively straightforward. However, there might be room for improvement in terms of additional features and compatibility with different mobile devices. Incorporating regular updates to enhance functionality would further solidify the product's appeal. Conclusion: In conclusion, while the dash cam has some promising features and the DDPAI app functions relatively well, there are critical issues that demand immediate attention. The upside-down video recording at startup, poor night time recording quality, and the lack of clear license plate visibility are severe shortcomings that compromise the dash cam's effectiveness and reliability. The warranty support by the seller is really bad. I hope this review reaches the manufacturer and motivates them to address these issues promptly. Rectifying these problems will undoubtedly elevate the dash cam's status in the market, making it a more attractive option for consumers seeking a reliable and high-performing dash cam for their vehicles.

Okayish Camera. Not able to show super clear images/videos
I have been using the camera from almost 1 month now and now i think i am in a positing to write am honest review about this product. Pro: 1 Easy to setup 2. All useful accessories are provided 3. price is as per the product 4. wide angle lens 5. Small camera, people may not notice it easily. Cons: 1. The images are not super clear. Its difficult to get the clear number plate if the object is moving. It does not matter its day or night, the clarity is still not very good. 2. It captures ~1 min clips and continue to make "capture" sound, which is very irritating. I am not able to find a way to disable you. The creepy noise will continue to disturb you your entire drive time. 3. Its good for understand what is happening with the vehicles around but capturing number plate is difficult. 4. Geo tagging is available. Over all, its okay with the cost involved. But i would suggest, since you are buying a dash cam, you are serious about it. Invest a bit more and try to get a better camera.

Good value for the price, some important features missing
Overall good value for the price (4k). It is better than not having a dashcam anyday - works well in daytime, although you will be able to read off a numerplate only if: relative motion is very slow AND the vehicle is relatively close and in the middle of the frame, AND no other reflections / glare are present. Nigh time performance is not great - enough to act as evidence but don't count on being able to read numberplates. The compression creates some very strange artifacts at night. With a polarising filter daytime performance increases marginally but night performance decreases substantially. This is to be expected somewhat since a polarising filter effectively cuts light. There are no buttons / switches on the camera. To control it you need the app, which is fine for initial setup. The camera has a motion sensor, which auto-saves clips when extreme acceleration takes place. The problem is that there is no way to trigger a save externally - even from the app. Hence if you see something notable, or if an incident does not trigger a motion event, you will have to hunt through the footage later and hope it did not get over wtitten. Most of the "events" detected by the camera are false positives which just eat into the available space on the card. At the highest quality one minute of video is about 100MB (0.6GB / Hour). The camera also stores images and other data to the card. Practically, a 16GB card gives me about 4-5 days of storage. One must periodically wipe out old "saved" files.

Good for the price
Just started using this product and works fine as of now, hope it holds good for long. Below are my observations... Pros: 1.Easy to install 2.Budget friendly 3.Good video quality 4.Application is user friendly, doesn't take much time to connect and download video/pictures 5.Best customer service from NEXDIGITRON. Cons: 1. You need to connect camera to application every time you need to download video/pics 2. There's a sound that comes from camera when you start your car "Hello Ding Ding Pai". This sound comes every time you start your car and it sounds very cheap and chinese. 3. Picture quality is not that good, you can't see vehicle numbers clearly.

Best entry level dashcam!
It is my first dashcam. My budget was โน5000. I bought DDPAI Mini and Samsung 128 GB sd card at the price of โน4547. For installation, I went to my friend's shop and he charged me just โน200. So, it fitted rightly into my budget and I'm so happy with the purchase. Regarding picture quality and app experience: Hardware is of top quality but software isn't. App freeze sometimes but I think that would be fixed with future updates. Final verdict: If you're looking for a dashcam in the budget of โน5000 including sd card and installation, DDPAI Mini is the answer to you! As an added advantage, I got one year of extended warranty from Nextdigitron. Now, warranty of my dashcam is valid till 26th September 2024! Fabulous!
