Not practical! I bought this product because of the ads made it seem the ultimate solution to lids where lids are not available. At first, I liked it. I tried to on dry circular glass container and the lids was near perfect. After refrigeration for one day, I pulled the container to use some of the contents. When done and wanted to put the lid back, it became a fight. The lid kept slipping and did not mount the container. I pulled another fresh lid but because the rim was wet due to sweat it did not work either. Tried another, and another... failure after failure. Conclusion: this product is not a universal lid, it does not replace a standard lid, it does not seal wet or greased surfaces, even after wiping. It requires coordination and maneuvrability to put the lid on. No one in my household likes to use them. I bought two packages and I am going to give them away because I threw all packaging out. A waste of money and energy.

We were soooo lucky that the day before I went through a house purge, our neighbor had a party and used these on her Pyrex storage containers. I had just gone through throwing away two or three lids from our Anchor and Pyrex glass storage containers and thought well what’s the use in keeping them I should just toss them because without lids they are useless.Ah ha! Useless no more. These came to save the day. They are easy to put on, tight enough to stack glass containers on and I love the colors (our neighbor had boring white ones but we can color code our leftovers!) So far we’ve only dishwashered them once and haven’t microwaved them yet so I didn’t give marks yet for durability but they’ve succeeded so far!

I prefer to avoid using purchased plastic wrap or foil to cover food containers in the refrigerator. And now I have these Silicon Stretch Lids. Fabulous!For anyone with a spoiled cat, the smallest lids fit the Fancy Feast cans perfectly. I use those sizes every day.With the collection of lid sizes, I always have a lid to fit each round bowl or soup dish I'm using to store food.Since the lids are silicon, they can be washed in the dishwasher or by hand. Very handy and good for the environment!

Time to leave in boiling water should be noted on instructions. Just said to put in boiling water before use. Did not hurt them but I boiled them for few minutes. They came out rather cloudy looking. Maybe it is my water. But they work just fine.

Hard to use in stretching over a rim. Bowl wants to move while sealing. Not good for handicapped hands.

Love the fifferent sizes, but need one just a bit larger in the collection. I have been using god couple weeks. Once you get passed the odd feel, these are amazing. I use to cover 1/2 a grapefruit, works on melons, bowls. Cans.

Have only used one of the lids one time so far but it worked great and my 17-yr old son commented that he loved it. He covered a smoothie in a glass with it overnight and it sealed great and he was able to shake the smoothie up in the morning with the lid still on! Excellent product and we can't wait to try out all of the lids!

They don't always grab on really well. I even made sure it was all dry. As long as you don't need to stretch it at all, they work well enough to cover my bowls.
