Bought for 6yo. It's perfect.
My son wanted to learn how to sew so I purchased this for Christmas. It has been a hit and honestly, I've used it myself a few times. During a sleepover, he had all the kids sewing. It's so much more than he really needs and it's a great value for the cost. I'd buy this again for any age. :)

Just what’s needed
Got this for my son who is graduating university. Needed a sewing kit that was more than a few strands, but significantly less than my sewing basket. He said it was perfect.

Nice set with good quality needles
It's a nice travelling sewing set with everything you need to fix a few things on the road. The only thing I'm wondering about is why the Amazon AI started advertising hygiene pads to me after I purchased this, even though I'm a male.

NOT for use with a sewing machine!!!
DO NOT order these if you are going to use with a sewing machine. The holes in the spools are MUCH too large to fit properly on a conventional sewing machine!!! Can't return fast enough!
