If you have a wound in your heel, this shoe is excellent for relieving the heel pressure when standing or walking.

I purchased this several months ago because I have been having pain in my left heel. When I received it the way that it looks, I thought it would not work for my left foot. But I was wrong. I worked just fine. I gave it a “4” in comfort because it did not allow my heel to fall in the open area, it caused me to have some pressure on the inner aspect of my heel, thereby adding at times to the pain I was having. I must say if I pushed the shoe forward and my heel was allowed to rest in the open area I had No pain. It took about 2 or more weeks for my heel to get better and My pain to be drastically lessened. I think, if you have pain in your heels this shoe should be tried. It helped me, hopefully it can help you as well.

Top quality product. Does a great job of unloading my heel and the exposed heel cup is functional and comfortable. It would be even better if the foot bed was a little wider, my 4EEEE foot extends a little off the width.

Excellent quality. Perfect fit. Does exactly what it's designed to do which is keep all pressure off the heel area.

Very disappointing product based on its price. Despite having 4 velcro straps, I could not achieve a snug fit. It did not adequately shift the weight from my heel. After just a little walking I developed pain in the arch of my foot. Even though an Extra Large, the toes of my size 14 foot hung out by a half-inch. Compared with a similar product from Darco sold on Amazon for about $25, this Globoped product is significantly poorer in design and quality. Watch my video.
