LG WT1901CW 5.0 Cu. Ft. Top Load White Washer

This machine often requires us to babysit it. Since we've had it, we've had repairmen over often for errors such as the lid not locking properly and an "uneven load" error. They call these machines, somehow, high efficiency, but in reality they consume water because it constantly is trying to level itself by adding water, draining it, and repeating this vicious cycle until it finally gives up. What a joke

This is not the exact model I bought 4.5 years ago, but looks very similar. I've purchased used washer and dryers in the past off craigslist with excellent success...in fact, I have the same dryer I purchased 8 years ago off craigslist. This is my first LG appliance and I doubt I'll ever go with an LG product ever again...it would take a lot of convincing. To purchase a new model like this and it only last 4.5 years is robbery! It would have cost more than what we paid for it to have it repaired! Is there a company out there that doesn't PURPOSELY make expensive products NOT to last 10 years?! I have the income to buy the most expensive product out there, but I just replaced this sorry LG washer with the cheapest one I could find that was large capacity and without all the "bells and whistles". I bet it will give me more years and if not...I didn't throw away a fortune!

This machine is a gimmick do not purchase!!!!. It has know way to agitate clothes and uses to much water. Your clothes will float on top like a fishing bobber!!!!Example, you can't wash pillows (they float) and you can't wash shoes or baseball or uniforms, the water simply has know way to force circulation through fabrics. This machine might be good for washing dishes because they will sink, but they won't get clean because there is know agitation .If you are a pre-washer and enjoy scrubbing dirt, grease and human waste out of undergarments this machine is for you.Total Epic Fail!!! LOL!!!!
