ridiculous waste of money
We were given this as a gift. If you like pretty colored, notched building blocks, great. But this is NOT a learning tool just because it has the element symbols on each piece. There is NO way to connect them to make a periodic table; there is NO way to connect them in a way to show how they would combine to form real combinations (which depend on valence electrons, so not all will connect with all other. These all connect together equally).For a three-year-old's hand-eye coordination, fine -- fitting the notches together, For anything else, a total waste of money.
