Timberland Mens MADISON SUMMIT Oxford

I know, it sounds nuts, but I tried them on at a shoe store and loved them. They were the only ones that felt like they needed no break in. When I got home I decided to buy a second pair for work use and discovered Timberland quit making them. Instead of buying one extra pair, I bought 2. I'm giving it 4 out of five because the shoe doesn't handle slippery suffice very well. Otherwise, great shoe.

Be careful on slippery surfaces! besides that I like these shoes. Comfy, scuffs easier than the black pair but wipes off easily. Good pair of shoes that will last a long time. Great build quality. Got tired of other shoes where the sole would start wearing down after a few weeks of normal use.

I am standing up most of the time at work, so a comfortable show is very important. For the last few years, I have used a different brand name shoe. However, after a year, the shoe no longer offered the support (i.e. my back would hurt and my feet were sore by the end of the day). Switched to these Timberland shoes for the last week and a half. My feet and back have felt great after a long day. The shoe is very attractive also (I wear with Jeans). I do expect the Timberlands to last much longer (the last Timberland shoes I had lasted 6 years before they became uncomfortable).May, 2015 Update:Just wanted to let everyone know I am still wearing these shoes. They are still very comfortable on my feet and still have great arch support. Definitely getting my money's worth!

I have added an insole to help with comfort and support for long days and many miles of walking. Shoes have held up well. Minor scuffs can be easily wiped away with a leather treatment. Excellent traction in both wet and dry conditions.

I'll be honest...I think they are ugly. I bought them for my partner who thinks they are awesome so that makes me happy. He said the fit was fantastic and provided him with support and a great deal of comfort. He spends a lot of time on his feet working and wanted to wear these for work but thought they were too nice so he wears them with jeans. The brown is almost black, very, very dark. The tread/sole is awesome and thick (will add a good inch or so to your height) and the quality is very nice. I think the styling is a little out dated and a little "old manish" but he thinks they are awesome and doesn't care for the sketchers look. He's happy, I'm happy that's why I gave them 5 stars.

This is my 4th pair of these same exact shoes. I wore the first two pairs while deployed at disasters where my job was going door to door in areas affected by the floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, etc, sometimes 12 hours a day. They offer great support and are good quality. The size is the same as my other shoes. When my local store went out of business I started ordering them online and have been very happy with shipping and the product. They are much better for extended walking or standing on your feet than tennis shoes. I will definitely order them again as needed.

Awful Chinese crap. Owned 2 pairs made in Vietnam I believe, and they were comfy and lasted 2 years. This pair wasn't made well, hurt my feet, and the insoles started wadding up under my arch after a week. The expensive new insoles from the store didn't help a bit either.

Reasonably well constructed for the price. Comfortable-which is hard to come by for me. I have a wide foot with a narrow heel. The heel is slightly loose but much better than anything else I have found.It is much more comfortable than the comparably priced Rockports.
