An OK product.
An OK flashlight, I bought these to have on the nightstand, bye the couch in case the lights went out, small, wouldn't have to fumble around for a battery. My only ding against them is the difference between the 2 and 6 LED is so small to be negligible, puts out a good amount of light for the size. The Nitecore Tube blows it away in brightness but if the power is out for a good amount of time you can't recharge the Tube but you can switch out a battery on the Blocklite.

It works. Good safety light. Emergency light.
Unbelievable that it works. I can get the 6 LED and the 2 LED light switches on. It is lighter than a regular flashlight of any type. It works. It is not the brightest, but in the dark is very nice. The only negative is that it is not a very uniform light. I am used to a round light and this one is blocky. I bought several of them. The switch does not work reliably on one of them. The other one is fine. Otherwise, I will use with hiking, because with a 9V battery, it is extremely light.

This is an okay product given it's small size. The light isn't very bright, but that's to be expected. It works well for an occasional use such as inside the car.

Dandy item to have
This is a very handy item to have. Especially if your like myself and your homeowners insurance sends you 9v battteries for your smoke detectors and your smoke detector uses a different battery. But this is great to have as a spare flashlight, to keep in a glove box, in your backpack, or purse. It has two different brightness settings and makes a handy light for emergencies. Plus if you can pick it up as an add on item, for cheap it is a great deal all around.

NOT VERY BRIGHT
Compact and sturdy design. Good size for pocket, purse or backpack, car glove box etc.The switch seems well made and it attaches well to the battery. It just isn't very bright. Even with all 6 lights illuminated. One would think that a 12 volt battery would be brighter than, say, an AAA volt battery but not so. I purchased a Helotex K1 Key Chain Flashlight, (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FZ9XRQA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) which runs on a single AAA battery and it is astonishingly bright, especially compared to this 12 volt battery light. It would be fine for confined spaces, rooting around a purse, backpack, floor of car etc.Probably not too useful for longer distance use with any brightness needed. If you need bright at a distance look at one of the cree lights.I didn't rate it higher just because the brightness wasn't as bright as some of the Cree lights I have.As other reviewers have noted, there is barely any detectible difference between low and high. Look for the light referenced above and other like lights.Steve

Camp/Hike/Hunt? Bad storms in your area? You need this light.
My initial fear was that the light and battery would disconnect on a frequent basis. I do not find that to be true. I keep one of these very by in the midwest during storm season. This light provides ample light to allow me to acquire candles or locate brighter sources of illumination during power outages. The two or six led output levels are both very useful for immediate vicinity work and the 6 led output allows safe maneuvering in a dark cluttered room from several yards/meters away. I keep one in my handy when hiking/hunting. Many uses. Another must have item for the outdoors types. Switch has solid feel with positive feedback. 3 position switch with off being in the center. Small size, minimalist design and good price make this a no brainer. As a former boy scout I wish I had had this light back in the day.

The items I received were NOT "Blocklites", but an inferior "knockoff". This is the second time I have addressed this issue. To me, a satisfactory resolution , will be to receive the item I ordered, which was advertised as a "Blocklite"., AND a prepaid shipping label so I can return the phony item I received. I do hope that this is the last time I have to address this issue!

Neat lights!
What a clever little flashlight! Who doesn't have 9V batteries around, after changing them out of smoke detectors, but you'd like to be able to use the rest of the battery power. (The flashlights do come with 9V batteries.) The LEDs are bright. You can use low or high mode depending upon how much light you want and how much juice is left in the battery. Changing the battery couldn't be simpler, as the flashlight top just pops on, snugly enough that it doesn't feel like it's going to fall apart. It's useful to have around and would make a clever gift. EDIT: The seller apparently changed the listing. The listing was originally for a 9V flashlight but now says something about a ferris wheel?
