Hello, how does this work with nintendo switch? Do i get emailed a code, and is there a way to add the code to Nintendo minecraft?

Hi, I just got this for my daughters Nintendo Switch, it wasn’t easy to figure out how to get the coins so she could use them in the game. But we got there in the end.

So once you purchase the coins from Amazon they email you a 25 product code, which you can also click on from the Amazon app to get the code once purchased.

You then have log into a Microsoft account in the Minecraft game on the Nintendo Switch.

My daughter already had an microsoft account from playing on her Xbox,  (see next paragraph), but if your child or you don’t have one I would image you’ll need to set one up with an email account.

Once you click on log in with Microsoft it then given you a code, you then need to go to a website, ms connect, which you enter in the email and password for the minecraft account. This took several attempts before we eventually logged into the Microsoft Minecraft account on the Switch.

Once login the switch is linked to that Microsoft account.

You then have to go to the Xbox web site, the link is in the email from Amazon, and enter in the 25 digit code & log in with the same Microsoft account you used to log into on the Switch.

You the redem the code & after several minutes it adds it to the account & your child can use them in the game on the switch.

I thought this would reset everything my daughter had anyready done in the game on the switch, but she said it’s diddnt. 👍

I consider myself fairly technically minded, but figuring this out wasn’t easy, had to do a lot of goggling & took us over 30 minutes to figure out!

Why they can’t just give you a code you enter directly in the game is beyond me.🤷‍♂️

There are different ways. I was sent an email with a Minecoin code in it which I then inputted into Minecraft using my laptop.

I was sent an email with a link to redeem it on the Microsoft website after I had redeemed it i restarted minecraft on my switch and had the mine coins
