No Canbus issues on BMW motorcycle
The halogen bulbs installed as standard equipment on the BMW R1200rs are about as bright as candles and are dangerous due to the lack of road illumination at night. I previously tried a different brand of H7 bulbs but the Canbus system functioned as if the bulb had blown on dip beam and turned on the main beam which would cycle on and off. The display also indicated a fault. After installing these lights there were no faults displayed and the improvement in lighting is fantastic. The only negative about these bulbs is that because of the module moulded onto the cable, the original dust covers can not be fitted. This should not be a problem because the bulbs are rated as IP65. I realise that non-Canbus bulbs can be fitted but a 50 watt resistor has to be fitted in series. It works but gets very hot and needs mounting on metal which is impossible on this motorcycle near the headlights. If you dont mind fitting without the covers then for the price they are recommended

Very Very Bright. Good For Main Beam.
Update: one of the lamps has stopped working 3 years later. Not bad in my book and will be ordering another set.Overall these lamps were good. I fitted them as dipped beams. they arrived quickly and are well packed to avoid damage. fitting them on my Audi Q3 was very easy and there was plenty of room for the little box the lamp is attached to. it's as simple as replacing the lamp and plugging the new one in. and blimey these things are bright. my old headlamps were just the normal halogen style so I'm actually a bit worried that the led does not project the correct pattern so it might blind other road users. it's literally like driving in daylight, but these lights do have a rotating part which I think your meant to turn until you get a good safe projecting pattern. but unfortuanlty I'm not an MOT inspector so I can't work out where they need to face. regardless these are super bright and I may just swap them into my main beam lamp and get something a bit dimmer for the dipped beams.

My go-to bulbs
I bought these because I'd used them in a previous vehicle & loved them.Very easy to fit when you follow the excellent instructions, especially on cars that have minimal hand space behind the headlamp units.Super white LED really improve the look of the vehicle.Do a decent job of lighting the road compared to standard yellow tinted halogen bulbs.I'd buy them again for sure.

Its a good brand but scattered light have had the light focus should be precise not dispersed
Its easy yo install value for money is fine but the brightness I have expected clarity focus and brightness on its value would have been much better.

You have to say buy to radio
The bulbs lok ok, no brand on them neather on the box! Cheap presentation...i think the chip are philips, they are bright, very nice patern but they claim that they have Les radio interference then others! I have Canbus decoder and the radio interference it is pretty bad. And you have to be careful to match the right position inside and it is frustrating that they don't have a fixed position for those that they don't know how to install them. But at least they do a very good job...it was nice if they include some interference filter to attach on the wire

MOT fail
Fitted these to my 2011 Transit van earlier this year and they work great, nice and bright and way better than the original ones. Sound good right.......... no. Vam has just gone in for MOT and failed because these are not road legal. Think this company should refund me and give me the £58 for my MOT too. Disgraceful that they are being sold on Amazon at all.

Ideal HID alternative
I am very pleased with these LED lamps. I have a 2010 Ford Mondeo with projector type headlamps. In the past I have always used HID upgrade kits, as standard xenon lamps are very dim. I would say these LED lamps aren't quit as bright as the HID lamps I've used previously but are far superior to standard xenons and they give a nice crisp white light. They're also considerably cheaper - £30 as opposed the £75 for a HID upgrade kit.You do have to play around with the lamp as they rotate in their mount. I found the best position was to have the lamp 'blade' vertical, ie with the LEDs shining to the left and right. There was plenty of room in the rear of the headlamp housing, as they are designed to hold a HID lamps ballast as standard.

Road Legal? Main beam 'Hole' in middle-distance
The standard H4 swing-clip won't fit. So you have to remove the bulb from its 'O' ring and tube, (it slides out) then clip the empty holder in place (as you would a normal bulb). Once the plastic tube is held in place with the headlight clip, then slide the LED with the dipped-beam sheild is fitted parrallel to the ground plane so that no dipped-beamlight is able to escape to the bottom of the convex reflector and blind on-coming drivers.Due to the bulky transformer and cable, you won't be able to pass this through the middle of your rubber weathersheild and will likely have to trail this out of the bottom meaning the rubber boot won't fit too well.As the LED is held stifly inside a tube and can rotate, you may need to adjust to try and get a proper MOT pattern. I tried as best as I could but it proved quite difficult to get an evern spread of light. I think this is due to the fact that the LED's are on extreme left and right (180') with nor top/bottom light for main-beam, it leaves a noticeable 'hole' in your middle-distance that a suspended filament main-beam (360') would cover. Thus the effect is to leave a 'hole' in your middle distance on main-beam. In other words, it lights up the sides in a parabolic figure of 8 rather than giving two upside-down pyramid patterns of equal distribution on main beam.I had to return to my XEON cool blue (albeit 4200k) which gives a pattern that is kinder to oncoming road users!

Pasados unos segundos vuelven a funcionar apagandolas y volviendo a encenderlas
