This stuff is amazing!! I had brushes literally caked completely solid and this stuff made them better than new! They were even softer than when they were new. The only down side is that 1 bottle only cleaned 18 brushes. I did not over use the product and only used a couple of sprays per brush (2-3 roughly). I loved it so much I immediately bought another bottle.

I don't clean my makeup brushes as often as I should. It's always been a pain and waste of time, with hopes that they're dry by the next day. I decided to try this product because I watched a presentation on a shopping channel one day and they said that your brushes will be dry and ready to use after you clean them. No more waiting for your brushes to dry. SOLD! Yesterday I cleaned at least 30 brushes that had been dirty for years (gross, I'm sorry). Some were so dirty that the bristles stayed horizontal when I pushed them down, almost like a lipstick wax texture was in them. I had soap and warm water with a brush scrubber next to me, but that wasn't getting them clean enough, so I sprayed this Brush Love on the bristles (over the wet bristles) and let it sit for a couple of minutes. This product breaks the oils down in the bristles to get the brush looking like new again. After a few sprays, let it sit, then take a paper towel to wipe the brush until it's clean. Repeat if you need to. You do not need to use soap and water at all, you can apply this directly to dry bristles, which I prefer. For the larger brushes, I thought I would try soap and water first so I didn't use as much of this product. Sure your brush won't be 100% clean since there's makeup deep down in the center where they glued the bristles to the handle making it nearly impossible to reach without destroying the brush, but it rejuvenates the bristles making them soft and fluffy again. No more getting stuck horizontally and no more waiting for the brush to dry! I used the entire bottle cleaning all of the brushes yesterday and had to come back for more. This will always be on hand from now on!

I have IT cosmetic brushes and the first time I used this cleaner it disintegrated the handles of the brushes. One of the handles was metallic and that is flaking off. The other one is rubber and it gummed it up and made it sticky. It might be a good cleaner for the brush but Disintegrated the coating on the handles. Very disappointed. Updated 12/24, took some steel wool to the rubber handle and it cleaned all the gummed up coating off. At least it isn’t sticky any more. It does do a good job cleaning the bristles. The company should look into using a different coating or material for the handles.
