Marine Metal LB-11 Bubbles Top Combo Bait Storage

This lets me easily turn a 5g bucket into a safe way to transport my fish, as well as an emergency qt or hospital tank. I like that the top snaps on securely to the bucket, and still has easy access via the hinges lid. The edge of the top has multiple holes for running things like airline and heater into the bucket while allowing the lid to be securely closed. It also has slots around the edges for hanging a net, clipping an air pump, and any other little tools you may need to keep with your fish bucket. The air pump! I cannot say enough good things about it! It has saved my butt during power outages and equipment failures. It runs for DAYS on two fresh D batteries, but can run on a single battery just fine in a pinch, with as much power, just not as long. And it is reasonably quiet. It makes a low buzz that is quieter than any of my whisper pumps once you hook the airline up. It may sound like the motor is running slow, but it has very good output. I recently had a whisper 100 dual output air pump have BOTH diaphragms fail. I had not realized how loud it was getting or how little air it was putting out until I hooked this Bubble Box up instead! I used a T connection on my airline and hooked it up to both sides of my UGF in a fairly deep tank. It is running it better and quieter than the other pump ever did! Three days and still going on the same batteries. I’m going to be getting more of these!

I'm on my second one of these. The lid of the first one finally disintegrated after about a decade of use. The blower still worked, in spite of the case beginning to fall apart. The batteries last forever.

Purchased this on a whim and glad I did! I knew I needed something that didn't plug in during my move to help keep my clown fish and coral alive while moving. This worked great and kept going strong for 3 days when I ran into a hicupp in moving. I did also have a plug in heater from my tank to assist when I was around power but I believe this pump kept them alive while away from power. Thanks for a great product!

Works great only gave it four stars cause it’s a bit noisy. I use this to move my aquarium fish 12 Hour Drive. And did not put them in the aquarium till the next day not one fish died.

This top is awesome. It's a great top. I just wish it had a few more hanging ports on the rim. But besides that, it's a great purchase. It fits my 5 gallon bucket with ease. Very secure lid and very sturdy. They say you can use the top for a cutting board, But I do not advise that, otherwise it's great. when it comes to The aerating stone I would go to your local pet shop and pick up the oval shape ones. They release a lot of bubble, great product for the price very good.

Does the job well and will keep fish going for quite some time in a standard 5-gallon bucket with the top, or bigger if you just use the aerator separately. I use it for minnows occasionally and most recently kept 15 palm sized blue-gill in a 52-quart cooler overnight (about 12-hours total) for use on a cat-fishing outing the next day. Only lost 2 of the 15 bluegill in the 12-hour period, one of which jumped out the crack I left in the lid of the cooler. 2 D-cell batteries held up the whole time, and they had been used previously on two other shorter outings, so it doesn't suck up batteries too much either. The bucket topper lid stays tight fairly well, but be sure to put a hand over it if you are looking to dump/filter water out of it with bait still in the bucket. You'll for sure lose it unless you pour really slowly, or put a hand over the lid. The whole topper itself does stay secure on the 5-gallon bucket really well, and can actually be a little difficult to remove.

This thing does great. I let it run for 5 days straight On two batteries. I figured for sure it would burn up but it still goes strong. I’ve used it multiple times since on fishing trips with fresh batteries and it still works fine. Definitely recommend.
