Great Little Train Set for Younger Children
My 2 1/2 year old Grandson is a huge Thomas & Friends Fan. This train set is ideal for the little guys to play with and gain an appreciation for the "Interactive Play" that helps them develop physically and mentally. While he needed a little help putting the track together, once it was set up he was off to the races having fun and moving the train and the accompanying pieces. Glad "Santa" was smart enough to get a good durable train for Christmas.

My toddlers love it!
It's the perfect sized train set for toddlers. I bought it for my 2 year old as a birthday gift, and with the help of his 3 year old sister, can put the track together and it keeps them both entertained for long portions of time. It was definitely worth the investment! Plus, it is very high quality.

Thomas doesn't come with the set but a good starter set
I read another review that said Thomas wasn't in the set so I bought him separately to add on. Was good advice. This set has several moving parts that my 3yo grandson really loves. he played with it for days on end without getting bored. Bonus - it came with adapters to allow it to hook up to other wooden sets with different shaped ends.

Still plays with this train set everyday...
Assembly was easy. 2 yr old is now almost three and he still plays with his train set every morning and afternoon.I do recommend buying extra pieces to make different track shapes for when they get bored of the little circle or the circle eight that it makes.But overall, it was the best of all train tracks to give as a starter kit.

A little different than the original Thomas tracks
My nephew loves this on Christmas but it took us a while to figure out. They do not fit directly to the old typical wooden tracks but they do come with 2 connectors to connect to the old tracks. Also, with the old tracks you could flip them over to use the other side of it if it doesn’t fit a piece. However, you can physically turn the piece but keep on the same side and I think it will fit due to the new design. Overall, not a huge issue but still would have rather had the other older originally tracks!

Good starter set - now get out the check book
I spent thousands of dollars on my son with Thomas the Tank Engine and now I get to spoil my grandson who is obsessed with these very high quality trains. I always thought that the eyes were creepy, but kids love them. Hours of entertainment.

Was a hit with my nephew!
This was something for my nephew to play with when he visits. He loves Thomas. This train set gave him hours of fun, and enjoyment.The set was sturdy, and went together easy enough. He likes to throw things sometimes. The set held up well.
