Aleene's Magnetic Tacky Sheets (Model: 31196) 4pk

This product is great for small craft projects, but may not be good if you want something a little more heavy-duty. I used this to make Perler bead magnets as Christmas gifts, and it worked nicely. However, I did use E-6000 to hold the strips to the project. The sticky part of the product itself did not seem like it would have as much hold as I would like (I didn't want someone to tell me, months or years down the road, that the gift I had given them had broken unexpectedly!), but probably would have been sufficient.One major con I have about this product is that, because the strips are rolled up, when you cut a piece off, it's still curved. If you want to stick this to something, you're going to have to apply pressure for a while so that the ends don't flip back up and away from your project. In my case, my projects were flat, so I just laid a book on top of them overnight. I suppose you could do this before attaching the magnet strip to your project as well.However, all around, this product has been pretty good for my uses. Also, I have a white refrigerator and have not noticed any marks from these magnets, which seems to be a problem with other similar products.

This is a decently strong magnet. It works well for for simple stuff for the fridge - I laminated some little organizational type charts for the fridge and this keeps them up there just fine. However, I wanted to attach a magnet to the inside of my kitchen sink cabinet to attach the garbage disposal tool for easy access, but this was too heavy and the tool just slipped right off the magnet. So it is strong enough for regular crafts for the fridge but not to hold anything of any substantial weight.

I bought this magnetic tape specifically to attach to  Good Living Jumbo Neon Snack Clips in Green & Orange, Set of 6  so I could get them out of my kitchen drawers and onto the fridge. It works well for that, and a few other odds uses around the house, such as holding bobby pins and small twist pins in the bathroom. Aleene's magnetic tape has good adhesive on one side - and it's easy to peel away the protective covering - and a magnetic side that could be better but is serviceable for light objects. I am giving it five stars because it worked really well for my intended use; I understood from the start that this tape isn't super magnetically strong. I can easily recommend this magnetic tape for light applications.

Pretty decent tape with a good magnetism. I bought these to glue to the back of my eye shadow compacts. Not just the pot but the actual compact and then I put them on a big metal sheet mounted to my wall. These will work on the lighter compacts but I had to use stronger ones on the heavier ones. So for crafting products they should be fine.

When I first used this tape in March I loved it, however, 8 months later the tape side is failing. This may be because I've cut the tape to size for pictures to stick to the fridge but I've used relatively large pieces that stayed on until now. I've glued the tape back onto the pictures and will see how long this lasts. The magnet sides are pretty strong so if this works I'll be alright even though the product is not working as intended.

I purchased this for the purpose of putting a magnetic strip inside my vanity mirror to hold bobby pins and such. The magnet wasn't as strong as I had hoped, and it also peeled completely off within a few weeks (with the edges starting to peel within a few days). To be fair, it was in the bathroom, in a high humidity environment, but it wasn't really worth the time. I'll hang onto it for other craft projects, but it wasn't well suited for the project for which I bought it.

This magnetic tape is awesome. I bought it for the inside of my medicine cabinet to stick bobby pins, nail clippers, tweezers, etc on and it works like a charm.The back of the magnetic tape is sticky enough to hold it well to whatever surface you apply it to. I've had it up for a few weeks now with no issues. I have applied it to wood and the inside of a medicine cabinet -- not sure what this surface technically is, but it's almost like thick cardboard lining the back of the mirror -- and have not noticed the magnetic tape trying to peel off at all.

It got the job done in providing a backing for much stronger magnets. I do wish it was stronger in its own though. For light duty tasks I imagine this will work well for most people. The adhesive has held just fine for over a month, no peeling around the edges or any of that.

Didn't really stick to the wooden numbers for my fridge so had to use glue gun to make sure they stuck

These magnetic sheets are perfect for a variety of uses such as making fridge magnets or other arts and crafts. They are very easy to cut into the shape you want, and four sheets is very generous for the price.The magnetic strength is comparable to that of a typical fridge magnet - strong enough that it won't slide around when left alone, but light enough that it is very easy to remove, making it ideal for simple crafts. Because of how thin they are, they probably are not ideal if you are looking for something stronger or need a magnet that endures a lot of weight.I ordered these magnetic sheets to use in my custom eyeshadow palette. Since the sheets were smaller than my box, I cut out tiny circles for my individual eyeshadow pans instead, which are 26mm wide each. I was able to cut out exactly 15 circles with a little bit extra left over. I then peeled off the adhesive to stick them on the pans. The pans are quite light, so the magnet holds them in place very securely. Even when I'm travelling, nothing moves at all thanks to the magnets.Overall I'm quite happy with this product and still have three sheets leftover too use! They are thin, yet strong, and once I run out I'll definitely purchase again.

almost perfect, but the magnetic strength of each sheet is pretty weak and barely holds.the sticker side is fine and the thickness and ability to cut your own shapes is great.

I purchased these magnetic sheets to put in the bottom of little boxes so I could store my depotted makeup easily.These magnetic sheets aren't the strongest, but work well for the purpose I intended. They are quite sticky, so make sure that you have them cut to size before peeling off the backing and trying to apply.

Magnets are weaker than I expected, was hoping they would be a good fit for what we needed. If you have light applications they should be okay. Adhesive seems decent, but just not very strong overall.
