My s7 starting experiencing a degraded battery life and I could barely go half a day without needing a recharge. I was in the market for upgrading my phone but came across this battery case. For the very affordable price of this product I'm not able to extend the life of my phone for another year at least.Pros:- greatly extends your phones' battery life- perfect fit- I personally really like the design on the back- the battery light indicator on the case is a neat feature- less bulky than I expected- dual charging is amazing, no need to remove the case to charge the phone and caseCons:- the ONLY con this case has is it does not support Fast Charging

Have used it for a month now. It is pretty snug and fits the S7 quite nicely. I have not had to worry about ending up with a dead phone before the end of the day, which was the norm before.Of course makes the phone bulky, but the thin profile at the top actually makes it easier to hold the phone in one hand.Heats up quite a bit while charging and the charging port is slightly loose. Heavier and thicker than expected, roughly doubled the weight of my phone. However, works as advertised and greatly extends battery life. Does carry a solid charge for the price. Can simultaneously charge case and phone. My biggest pet peeve with the case is that it won't automatically keep charging the phone once you hit 100% like my external power bank does. This has an auto shutoff rather than maintaining the phone at 100%, so it does need to be manually turned back on once the battery starts to dip again.

C'mon ladies and gentlemen, this product is incredibly mis-designed. How could these ratings be close to accurate??!! The unit itself heats up fast and hot once you push the button to initiate the charging process...and so does your phone. There is a very high potential for internal damage to your phone and we all know there are no chinese product sellers insured to cover ANY liability for the destruction or potential injury. It also looks like all of the models listed come from the same source as there are only small aesthetic differences...some products state power specification differences but we all also know chinese product specs are rarely close to accurate. I saw one review of a similar/same product where the guy uploaded photos of his phone burnt to a crisp--he mentions he is waiting to see what Amazon is going to do to replace his phone. IT IS TIME TO REMOVE THESE THINGS FROM THE MARKET AMAZON!!!!I followed instructions and fully charged my new battery charger case before using. I installed it on my phone which was easy, but I had to permanently remove my trusty otter box. This charger case fit well but I could tell by its design, it would be just a matter of time before it's rubberized outer casing component stretched out to where my phone could easily fall out or get damaged when dropped (nothing close to the otter box which has saved my dropped phone on numerous occasions). The way it is described to work is when your phone's internal battery gets very low, you hit the hidden button on the back of the case--which turns it on--and it starts quick-charging your phone's internal battery. Once I hit this start button on mine, it instantly began to heat up. It only felt warm at first as I set it down while not using it. When I grabbed it to answer a call, (it had supposedly charged my phone's battery from 7% to 35%) it was so hot I could barely hold it up to my ear and I disconnected it and pulled it off my phone immediately. Oddly, a few minutes later when I checked to see if it had cooled, my phone's charge level was back down to 7%. Hmmm.It appears this charger case does not CHARGE a phone's internal battery at all (as it claims). Instead, it acts as a secondary battery. The overheating problem is most likely caused by the connection and incorrect circuitry to safely override a phone's internal battery. There is no other reason for a battery (which is what this charger case really is) to heat up like mine did unless there is a fault in the wiring.Because there are many good reviews on these, Amazon CS has convinced me to try another one. I'll try to update this review after I give that a shot. Unfortunately, junk is junk...more and more the quality of the products sold by Amazon are failing. Far too many are from china, home of the poorest quality manufacturing in the world (AND the birthplace of the world's pandemic!!). I trust Amazon and only buy from them when possible, but I am beginning to have problems with about 30% of everything I buy. Even athletic shoes seem to be "seconds" as they get delivered to me unboxed in plastic bags--WTH?? The inconvenience dealing with returns is disheartening. Cheap junky products should be limited to e-bay and never be considered by Amazon buyers.

I really like the security of having a built in battery bank. I can get two phone charges to 100% on one full charge of this case.Charging the phone is easy. Simply push and hold the button on the back for 3 seconds. You turn it off the same way.One nice thing is that once you attach the case to the phone they charge together. No need to separate them.I have found that with this case I can use my Galaxy S7 all day without plugging in to recharge as long as I recharge with this case when my phone battery reaches 40%ish. Then at night I plug in to the wall charger and both phone and case are at full capacity when I get up in the morning.Obviously the battery bank adds bulk and weight to the case but it's not bad. I can still carry my phone in my pocket or purse with ease.

I got this case in exchange for a review but my opinions are not effected by that.Before getting the case I was going to get a new phone because the battery life was starting to get really bad on my S7. As we know as S7 owners our phones battery life is coming to its tragic end. No more playing on it all day and having half power still. We need to charge our phones often. Here is an answer, a battery case.Pros:+ It has a nice design really like the black checker board back that reflects ever so slightly depending on the angle.+ It does FAST CHARGING!! (1 hour fully charged from 15%)+ It can charge it fully at least twice from 15% from what I have tested.+ Battery pack charges quickly also+ UP DOWN & POWER cover buttons work flawlessly.+ Price is good for what you are getting, will keep my S7 running till a phone is out there worth upgrading to.Cons- It is heavy, and is noticeable.Overall its a great buy, I am very satisfied with how it preforms. I have put the latest Android Pie (Black Diamond Port) on my phone so it is equivalent to the newer phone in gimmicks (4K recording, Face Unlock, ect) and this is a great way for me to save $1500 upgrade to a newer model with this simple battery pack. I got this just before a road trip so I will be testing it further, 14+ Hour drive and in a remote cabin, so I will be putting to a real good test. If I see any major problems I will update this post but if it works as designed, I will continue to be satisfied with this purchase.

I'll get the cons out of the way first. It's important to understand that you won't be buying a case that will make your phone easier to carry--nor should you expect to, as the features that this package delivers simply can't be delivered in a form factor as comfortable as other non-battery cases. Perhaps the angles the product photos are taken from are "convenient" as they don't highlight how thick the case is. It is meaty and heavy. Perhaps one improvement might be a more grippy finish, as this case's weight and size do make it more prone to dropping.I made this purchase to accomplish a purpose, which it has done perfectly: giving me longer overall battery life in situations I don't have regular and convenient access to a charger. Hikes, camping, exercise tracking, etc. It has, and will accomplish that purpose very well. It functions perfectly, and charges phone first, then case when plugged into a charger. So, in spite of the tradeoffs that go with this technology, it functions perfectly and will do an admirable job of what I need it to do.

Stopped working about a month ago. Only bought in December. Was glitchy from the start but it started working again so I kept it. Now it's totally dead.

The product was used for podcasts. It definitely was better but not as good as hoped. For regular use it was great.

Work great, now I can use my phone as I want without worrying about it. I can say It's durable since It's taken a couple drops in the few weeks I had it with no damage to the phone or case. The phone fits snug in the case. In terms of being heavy or bulky it's actually not bad at all. After initially getting use to it I really like this case, fits well in my hand. whenever I get a new phone I'm going to go with this company again as my first choice. Great product and definitely helps out well keeping my daily life flowing with one less thing to worry about.
