This Edge Trim to edge the top plate on our Cargo Pod Coffee Table in the 'Space Room'It was quite difficult to attach to the plate, I had to open the seam up to get it onto the edge all around, but that was good, it meant that it would be a great seal onto that edge.It looks great !

In case anyone thinks this is my first time installing these door edge protectors…I’ve been buying/selling and restoring cars for over 40 years—I was installing these door guards when they were made of chromed metal and aluminum and had to be ordered from the car dealer or mail-ordered from JC Whitney. When later they became more common in vinyl, I stuck to the better known brands like TrimBrite and 3M.I’ve NEVER had any issue installing door guards—it’s a simple process, and even easier if they are plastic…This particular product arrived covered in its own glue—I could see the package was hazy and fully smeared with melted glue on the inside…and this glue is VERY sticky, almost like mouse trap adhesive!The edging material had ‘cooked’ itself into a permanent coil/wave shape, most likely from the heat it’s been subjected to in transport, etc making it impossible for the material to conform to a straight line! And the glue kept oozing from the door edge creating a potential serious mess.I have never seen this type of cheapness in the dozens of door edge protection strips I’ve purchased over the decades…this item is CRAP and no one should buy it!

looks good, shiny, easy to apply, but that glue inside I had to soak it in water for a few days in order to remove most of it before I applied.

Purchased this door trim in "Gloss Black" to replace the chrome trim on my motorcycle helmet. At first wasnt sure if it was going to be too large in diameter, couldnt tell size in these photos. When I received it, it was def smaller than i expected (see my photos) i went ahead and swapped out my chrome trim anyways and although it looks alot better in black, it wasnt the easiest. I suggest slightly heating it to form around curves. It comes wound in a bundle and is a little on the stiff side so it wants to retain that shape. For use on vehicles id suggest using a larger diameter molding as this will barely sit over the edge of the door. Adhesion is so so, not the greatest but its holding (havent goen through heat to see if itll unstick) decent product overall.

Fit my car good kind of what I needed

So far this looks like a good product for my 2019 Nissan Leaf. The description shows a 3m strip you need to remove. I found that the adhesive is really in the crotch of the strip rather than on the two sides. At first I thought there wasn't any until I removed the small sample piece I tried. You’ll notice it has little bubbles when you put it on. Just press firmly towards the front of the car (assuming your putting it on the door).

I purchased door edge guard in Glossy Black. It was labeled as Door Edge Guard. It arrived and looked like the item purchased. No instructions.I put it on my door edge after cleaning the area with alcohol, then drying the area thoroughly. The guard does not stick. Specifically the glue lets go of the guard itself and it falls off while the adhesive is gummed all over my paint!I checked the packaging it comes in and the Glossy Black color I bought is labeled VENT edging. Not door edge guard as labeled on the listing. Vent slits and car door edges are significantly different in thickness. This is either false advertising or a warehouse mixup. I'm not spending more money to find out which it is.Purchase at your own risk.

Packaged well and the quality seems to be good.
