The plastic on these is stiff, and my roommate asked if they are heat shrink style, they are not. I see that as a good thing. I crimp on male/female ends and use heat shrink tubing to close off the ends just in case and these worked perfect for my project, and will last me the rest of my life it seems. When you crimp the plastic piece, the plastic DOES NOT SLIDE OFF like some other cheap quality brands. When you crimp these, plastic stays in place and doesn’t move. It has some good curves to it as a design to keep it in place no matter if they’re fresh and new, or freshly crimped. There’s also so many! Such a great price for the quality and quantity.

Quality fittings. Snap together well and they have nice lips to grab on to pull them apart. The male spade connectors sometimes bend to one side, making them not slide into the female connectors, but they are easy to recenter with your fingernail. You just have to remember to check before putting them together. Not weatherproof, but do cover all the metal parts so you don't have to worry about any shorts. I like to put a dab of silicone grease in the female connectors to keep the parts from corroding. The plastic covers serve to protect keep the grease intact.

These are great to use..every now and then you find a defective one but you will even with the top name stuff. I use them almost every day. Definitely will purchase again and again.

I wanted fully enclosed connectors. These fit the bill. I've seen ones with stiffer and seemingly more durable plastic, but these were good enough. Not so thin that I'm worried about them cracking, but I don't know how much abuse they will take. But to protect against casual exposure (which is my use case), they seem to be just fine.

Would buy again

The insulation on the male and female connectors fit quite well together, but they are so hard that crimping them becomes almost impossible
