Philips SBCMD110/01 Corded Microphone

Bought this microphone as it was manufactured by Philips. Needless to say I wasn't disappointed at all. Personally used it for my graduate college project and it posed zero problems.But as a consumer, you may come across two minor issues1) The length of the cord : It is exactly 1.5m and was more than enough for my use. However I understand that people prefer much longer lengths. The microphone in itself is extremely durable and long lasting and won't pose any further problems.2) Volume of the audio input may be low : As you will be attaching the microphone to high level device (PC, Laptop, Amplifier, Karaoke machine) the volume can be increased externally through those devices.

This is a very very good and quality product by Phillips and thanks Amazon for making it available online. I am using this with my pc which is connected to F&D f6000 (5.1 channel) home theater. Mostly I use this for kareoke. As this mic has got awesome noise cancellation, the output is low, so if you are playing kareoke on you tube then the instrument sound being played from YouTube is 20 tines higher so one can hardly here the singer's voice coming out from mic.Now to overcome this, one has to lower youtube volume. Which can be very easily controlled from volume mixer (available in Windows 7,8,10). If you struggle to find volume mixer then just Google for volume mixer in Windows 7/8/10.

Nice mic, audio clarity is nice and you actually don't need a pop filter to use it but one thing to keep in mind is that the mic sometimes is very inconsistent which means that it does sometimes you might loose the conection mid recording

It's a nice product but it has a very small wire and and it works as an earphone if connected to mobile not as a Mic so ☆☆☆for this product.

Recorded voice has very low volume, also it captures lot of noise which can be removed by audacity. I received the product whose on/off switch was not working. Not good for recording for Youtube. But it can be good for Karaoke

This mic is not suitable for any kind of recording. The volume is too low even when mic boost set set to maximum. You have to speak keeping your close to the mic or you will not hear anything. I searched online and many people are facing this problem. I tested it using Audacity. The sound itself was clear when amplified through audacity. On the plus side it works fine with skype. Maybe they automatically amplify the sound. So if want to record your voice this is not for you.This review is for the product and the seller deserve 5/5 rating. The product was delivered on time and packing was good.
