I bought this for preparing outside corners of rubber cove base and it works great. The adjustable depth is an invaluable feature.

Used for leather work to create a U shaped gouge (as opposed to a V shape) . Not so good out of the box, but with sharpening & honing it does a good job. Get the Osborne one if you don't want to spend over $100.
