Geoffrey Beene Leather Men's Passcase Billfold Wallet

Of all the wallets I have used this is my personal favorite. The feel of the material is very soft. It seems to have a good durability. Because I must carry a number of credit cards with my, including some that are work related cards, I must have a wallet with a good amount of capacity. I have tried several different wallets. There are several that cause the cards to crack because of the way they stack in the tiered holder. I have not had this problem with this particular wallet. I also like the flip out ID window. Another good feature for my use is the separated billfold section. I keep receipts and having a separate compartment for bills and receipts is great. As the wallet gets older and the fit of the ID holder, it becomes a loose fit. Over all I am very satisfied with this product and would recommend it to others. There isa shift toward minimalist wallets today, however, if you must have a wallet that will hold a number of cards. This is a good one.

My brother originally got me this wallet for Christmas in 2012. I had it until September of 2013 when I was over served one night at the bar. By over served, I mean I might as well have hooked a tequila bottle straight to my vein. Fast forward about 8 hours,I found myself waking up on my girlfriend's bathroom floor. As I peeled myself from that cold, wet corner of the bathroom, I did an ocular pat-down of the room to locate my possessions. Phone? Check. Keys? Check. Wallet?.... Wallet?.... Dignity?.... Gone.I was devastated. This wallet and I had been through so much together in such a short amount of time. We had seen money come and go while on two trips to Vegas. It didn't even flinch when I asked it to hold the monopoly money of Mexico on a trip to Cabo San Lucas. When it didn't show up after a day of searching I knew it was time to replace it. I couldn't stomach the thought of having a different wallet so I came here and ordered an exact replacement. The new wallet and I are going strong.

This is a pretty nice wallet, I am glad I purchased it. It smells so good I regularly huff it as if it were the sort of reduction of cat innards my grandma used to make when I was a tot. After approximately 10 hours of ownership, my only qualm is that I ordered a brown wallet, and this thing is mind-screwing me to hell with how black it looks. I'm pretty sure they sent the right wallet, though. I think on some planet the wavelengths operate in such a fashion that this would be brown. I don't even know if that makes sense, I'm not a damn physicist or anything.Nutshell: If you order the brown version of this wallet and expect to get a wallet resembling the pictured brown wallet, you better just poop in your own hand. I think that's how the saying goes. Personally I'm fine with this, as I was unsure whether I wanted the black or the brown wallet. It's like Amazon knows my brain better than I know it myself and customizes my orders beyond spec. Kind of scary really.Smaller nutshell: I'm withholding one star because this wallet is way darker than the one pictured.Edit!!!!!!!!!!!!!Bigger downside: The little mini-wallet insert doesn't have any credit card slots, as pictured and mentioned in multiple reviews. Bummer.Update: I just realized how completely garbage union-busting Amazon is. I have cancelled prime and I hope you consider doing the same.

I thought the picture was a little disappointing. You can see in the bottom right hand corner the brand name, which I thought would have be stitched in, but it turned out just to be a plastic bar that's either glued or punched on. It also has a very pleather feel to it. Something that I thought was kinda of tacky is that it has "GENUINE LEATHER" stamped on the open. I'd rather it look and feel like leather than to have "GENUINE LEATHER" stamped on it. I've had it for almost a week and it seems to be breaking in fine. If I would have seen this wallet in person before buying, I probably would have went with another one. It already feels thick and I really don't have more than a few cards in it. It's not bad enough to return, but not good enough to buy again.pros; makes you look like you've got money when you don't, i guess it smells alright(idk, a lot of reviewers talked about this), very nice insertcons; looks cheap, feels cheap, tackey bar on the front, very thick, questionable life spansummary; I think I'm going to go with what another reviewer said and just use the insert since i'm cash less and only have two cards.Update... I have been using the wallet for a while now, and it seems to be holding up pretty good. Still don't like the cheap logo, but other than that it has been working out fine.

My husband had been using the same (velcro closure) wallet for about 5 years. He loved it and never thought he would want to change to a "grown-up" wallet. But since he has been promoted at his office, I decided to get one for his birthday. I searched high and low and read all of the Amazon wallet reviews. This is THE best wallet that I could have picked out for him! He keeps his wallet in his front pocket, even when wearing jeans, and this is thin enough for him to do that without a problem! And he LOVES the little mini-wallet where he keeps his drivers license and main cards. Sometimes when he is running out really quick, he will just take that with him. Super convenient and he has no complaints whatsoever!
