best way to install?
will this also help circulate the air inside the kegerator?
I have a deep freeze kegerator, goes to 32 degrees, i just bought it, the beer is colder than my former kegerator. Will this make the beer even colder
Will this work if I need to run a longer line (5 ft) to a wall tap? Where would I get a longer hose and is it easy to swap out?

Don’t think twice about buying this!!! Just do it!!

This item is badass!! I’m a Draught Tech and work for a beer company. This is exactly what I needed. I have an old model of a kegerator that has 3 plastic panels that frost up but has no fan to blow cold air up the tower with a ac hose and without that, that means the tower will be room temperature and will cause 2-3 seconds of foam. Well worth the freaking money!! Also it needs to be on a surge protector or its own outlet. Faucet or faucets and tower will get really really cold! So far I’m extremely happy!!

Tube Question

Love the product. Problem is I have a larger freezer and I need a longer tube. Where can I purchased longer tube? Can I get the name of the manufacturer of the tube and the tube's name?

A great product that really makes a difference.

Yes, add me to the chorus of people singing the praises for this product. It really does work. I think even if you don't have a problem with a foamy first pour, this is well worth the purchase to upgrade your kegerator. Nothing beats draft beer, and this product makes home draft beer taste every bit as good as what you get at the brewpub. After experimenting I found the best results if I try to keep as straight a line as possible for the cooling hose to attach to the box fan. Any weird curves or kinks will slow down the air flow. Also try to keep the hose as short as you can...air works just like liquid, and just as you need to have the proper length for your beer line, so too do you want the right length for the air hose. The power cable is thin enough to fit through the same hole my gas line goes through, so this makes for a really clean installation. I REALLY like the rocker switch outside the kegerator and so close to the plug. A really thoughtful nod to us there. And it works. Man, it works like crazy. I insulated my tower with a section of Pool Noodle, but even that wasn't enough to keep the beer in the tower cold. Adding this though, well, while I'm not getting the extreme condensation that some others are, I figure this is because my tower is highly insulated (and so I just leave the cooler on all the time.). But suffice it to say the beer comes out COLD, stays COLD, and doesn't foam. Having one of these helped simplify my keg balancing as well, giving me a margin of error where I don't feel like I have to calculate the beer line to the closest half inch.If I had any complaint, it would be that I could hear the fan running inside the kegerator. It's not loud, more of a pleasant white noise, but it is noticeable. However, it sounds much like the compressor running, so it's not like an unusual sound or anything. It also doesn't bother me all that much, but I mention it in case it might bug someone else. It's a great product. I'm really happy I have it in my kegerator.

Necessary for Remote Dispense

My system is a remote dispense that has two taps. This blower is designed to be used in a kegerator with a tower, but I figured it would work in my system as well. For the most part it does, but I ended up needing two. At first I tried using one and tee'd it off to two separate air lines to cool both taps. There just wasn't enough airflow, so I bought another and now have one fan dedicated to each tap.It would be nice if this vendor could/would produce a product with a stronger fan to support a remote dispense with multiple taps.Additionally, I wish the air hose provided was longer. It's probably fine for keg towers, but not for anything else. As cheap as those hoses are, a little extra would be nice. I had to get something close at lowes for my system (grey hoses in the pic).I also think this thing is a bit expensive for what it is. In my mind, this thing should cost around $30, but it is a nice well made product. With that said, I am now pouring consistently good beer. The beer pictured was the first pour after 48 hours. Dont expect a miracle, you still need to balance temps, carbonation, and line lengths, but this is a crucial piece of the puzzle if you have exposed lines.

The solution you're looking for...

My wife and I lucked into a kegerator and elected to replace everything beer related inside including the tower to be certain we were starting from scratch with a clean, operational system. What we quickly discovered was that, with our setup the way it was, our first pour after allowing the system to sit for any more than 10 minutes was consistently foamy. Given that we weren't interested in speed drinking through our kegs on a consistent basis, this issue presented itself as a significant hindrance to what should have been an exceedingly enjoyable experience. We tried everything from cleaning our very lightly used beer lines to adjusting temp and pressure to fix the problem. Nothing seemed to work, but after some extensive research, it seemed that getting a tower cooler was my only remaining option. Thankfully, the change in first pour quality was immediate. This was, without a doubt, the issue we and countless others experience when your kegerator doesn't have a built in tower cooler. Also of note: Installation was relatively easy. I was able to run the power cable through the same hole in the back of the kegerator that the condenser line runs through. I simply re-sealed the gap with some duct seal after I had the fan situated where I wanted it. I also installed the fan on a smart outlet so that I could set up a routine in my smart system that automatically powers the fan on and off with enough time to cool the tower every day. By doing this, you can ensure the fan only runs when you think you'll be drinking beer, thereby extending its life significantly.I hesitated to purchase this fan because of the price, but there's no doubt it solved my foamy beer issue. Do with that information what you will.

Works As Advertised

It gets the tower REALLY cold, which is awesome. In my case, one keg no longer has foam and another does. I have the same level of CO2 pressure going to both kegs from a single regulator so now I'm thinking it's either the keg or some beers are just more foamy. I don't think I'll be buying that beer again. I won't name names but it rhymes with True Loon. My Sierra Nevada is great and so is this tower cooler.
