SOA Motorcycle Vest with Snap & Zipper-Front Closure.Dual Concealed Gun Pockets - 2X

•From a quality standpoint, I would rate it good to excellent. The vest is of very nice leather and looks good on.•I am very pleased with fit (as expected, if not just slightly small, but feels good snug). I measured and ordered according to recommend size and it does fit snug with a t-shirt, but would not fit with a flannel shirt underneath. If you plan on riding with more than a t-shirt under this, and you are at the upper extreme on size range, order one size bigger. The neck is more pleasing than my previous v-cut vest as it keeps my shirt more secure during riding.•Lots of pockets.•Zipper and snaps are good quality so far. No issues or concerns. Even with my girth.But… This is supposed to be a CCW bike vest, so I have to also grade on that. I did purchase this specifically for that reason, and here is where I have issues with the vest.•It has two inside pockets for the firearm, one on each side as expected, so works good for normal people and for southpaws. :)•The holder for the firearm is an elastic strap, which you will have to fit a small/soft cloth holster into and then have the elastic strap hold the holster via the belt clip. I don’t know what I was expecting, but I don’t like this method for holding the firearm. It does hold my small 3.3” barrel okay (single-stack semi-auto, 26oz loaded), but my 4.5” barrel pistol does not fit at all; the holster would not fit and without the holster the pistol was not held secure; the larger pistol was also too bulky due to weight, which the vest could not comfortably support. Because this method holds the pistol vertical (barrel down), drawing, even from an already open pocket, is tricky. I would have preferred an internal Velcro system, as I’ve seen on other similar vests. I should have researched this better, but as this is my first CCW vest, again, I’m not sure what I was expecting. Revolver, in a soft holster, also holds secure, but no good method of holding reload strips or spare ammo.•The same elastic strap method is used for the extra magazine holder (one each carry pocket), however the magazine has to go directly into the elastic strap, which is too big for EVERY pistol magazine I own, even the bigger ones I would never consider carrying in a vest. The strap should have been smaller so it could stretch over the magazine and hold it more firmly in place; I find the magazine falling out of the elastic strap and then ending up in the bottom of the pocket. Big no-no and I will have to figure out how to solve this issue (if I continue to use it as a CCW vest).•With the pistol in place, the vest (while open) pulls down to one side (weight imbalance). Not bad, but noticeable to me, but not so much as it would invalidate the vest if all other considerations were equal. With a pistol in the inside holster/pocket, the firearm does not print -- average Joe passing by would not suspect there is something in there.•My final critique has less to do with the vest proper and simply the method by which it operates as a “holster.” You will not draw your weapon quickly from this vest. With the vest closed, you have to unsnap the vest, unzip the vest, then unsnap the inside pocket to get into the pistol,then again, draw is awkward. I typically open the vest when not on the bike, so it would be a bit faster, but only marginally, getting to the firearm proper out is still somewhat convoluted, which I don’t think would be the case if the pistol were more at an angle, but then again that is a different concern. I do not think you could safety draw while on the bike at all, and would not try.Overall, I like this vest as a bike vest. I do NOT like this vest as a CCW bike vest. Because I have other methods of carry, I will be keeping the vest for the bike, and think that even a better CCW vest would have many of the same concerns, however, if this vest were mysteriously eaten by a shark, I would not buy it again.Ride safe. I purchased this vest for my son as a gift. When it arrived at his address on time he could not believe the quality of the leather vest and it's great design. I got a call from him says how happy he was with my gift to him and it fit perfect. I read the reviews and purchased a size larger than his normal size. He was pleased that he could wear a hooded sweatshirt under it and be comfortable. Then he went on about how great it was that it had a cell phone pocket on the inside. I give this item 5 stars

Ordered 2 vests about 2 weeks ago to Sweden, the payment was smooth and the deliverytime was excellent. The overall quality of the vest is superb! Im more then pleased about this product. Will both buy and highly recommend this seller and his/her products. The downside was that i had to pay another 767:- swedish kronor when i picked up my vests from the postaloffice (postförskott). The swedish customs added it because the products are new. But even with the extra cost, this order was still 600-700:- kronor cheaper then any other seller in sweden and most of the EU sellers on Amazon and E-bay!

My husband normally wears a XL but we decided to go with the 2x and it fit perfectly. It's roomy enough to wear over a long sleeve shirt but not baggy. For the money it's a decent deal.

I based my sizing off of their charts, took some measurements, and it was a perfect fit! Just loose enough that I can fit a hoodie on underneath it without it feeling tight! Great quality, though I wish the loops for concealed carry were a little smaller do they'd grip my pistol a little more securely.
