I purchased this for a friend. The lettering on the pen is not engraved. It's flush with the pen, so it is lightly painted on. The overall appearance of the pen is nice. -1 starThe ink quality in the pen is also sub-par. It does the thing where when you write, the ink has the incomplete streaks in it, kind of like what happens when a pen is starting to get low on ink. The whole point of having a fancy pen is to be able to write with it, ya know? -1 starShipping also took forever. The seller labeled the order as shipped a day after I created the order, but the package wasn't marked as initial acceptance by the carrier until two weeks later. -1 starWould not recommend this pen or the seller.
