I read the reviews and was a little hesitant but decided to find out for myself. I'm so glad I did!!! I got TWO just like advertised....they are just the size advertised and actually a little bigger than I imagined....and they are perfect for decorating!!! I got EXACTLY what I it says and what I wanted.So let me explain something. One reviewer gave 2 stars and complained that you would have to cover it up to make it look nice...HELLO....yes that is what it's made for, to cover up, to decorate, to alter, to paint....it's a craft project. So don't expect to be getting something beautiful.....you need to make it beautiful. Like the ad says, it's a "DIY Craft Paper Mache Book Box". DIY stands for Do It Yourself.....craft should be pretty explanatory...and Paper Mache should also be explanatory. I'm not trying to be condescending.....I'm just trying to explain it in a way that non-crafters might understand.If you are looking for an awesome craft project then you are buying the right thing. Enjoy :)

I bought these to take to book signings for authors to sign and to keep small swag inside-key chains, bookmarks, rubber bracelets, and the like. It serves the purpose and displays well once I return home. I will likely continue to purchase.

What's not to like? Timely delivery, good product. I am a collage artist and plan to decorate these papier mache books as decorative containers.

They are fine but I do worry about the way the cover is made, I think it may start to split/tear within a short time so I recommend gentle hands with these.

It's exactly as advertised.

Comes in a package of two. One of them was dented on the top edge in a couple of places. Also, when product sticker on back is removed some of the material came off with it.
