Fendrihan Essential Apothecary Shaving Mug (White)

I have finally found a great shaving cup! I fill the sink with very hot water to a level that allows the cup to rest in the sink with the water and it’s heat just below the cup’s rim, so water does not enter the cup but surrounds it, and my shaving brush is submerged in the hot water. Then I walk away for four or five minutes. I don’t hurry back, and when I finally drain the sink my cup and brush are warmed properly and they quickly whip a thick, warmed lather. I take very good care of my cup and brush. They are responsible for a really good start to my day.

Bought this mug and immediately dropped a new bar of mug soap into it. I could not wait to shave with it. Keeps the lather inside really well. Stays in my hand easily and I am not afraid of dropping it. I am a big guy and most mugs look like Espresso mugs in my hands, but this one is a good size and I can grip it well even when my mug hand is wet from the shave. Stop being weird, if you are getting into Wet Shaving - give this guy a grab. Now, you may notice I also own a metal shaving bowl, which I love, but I like having multiple soaps to mix a lather-Frankenstein when I go under the blade. The metal one from a popular company is a great piece of kit, but much smaller than I wanted. The mug here is the size I wanted...so it is my go to now.

This bowl is amazing! Perfect size to soak my brush and to work up lather. Very nice quality! Fits great in my hand.

I find this mug to be of great quality. It's ceramic so if dropped hard it will break. My first shipment arrived broken. Otherwise, the coating has held up and the mug fits my hand nicely. Overall I give it 4 stars because a product must be exceptional to get 5. I recommend this product. It's just cool.
