I like it. I just got it, so I don't know its lifespan for my laptop and my usage. I like that it doesn't stick out as much from the laptop as did the similar battery it replaced (which I bought maybe a couple of years ago), but I have this criticism now:The Laptop Battery User Manual says this: "Usage"/"Pls discharge the battery to 2% and then charge fully to 100% at the first cycle after purchasing."/"Do not discharge the battery pack as that will damage the battery pack and shorten its life." The problem is that I don't know how to discharge that far down. My laptop (a Dell Latitude E6400) shuts down when the battery is at 10%. So maybe this a criticism of the design, or maybe more adaptive advice could be offered.The manual also says this: "Usage"/". . . . ."/"It must be charged upto 70% for longterm storage [sic]." I guess 70% is the minimum but the wording is vague enough that maybe it's the maximum. This is a phrasing problem that leads to uncertainty about what to do, whether to store above or below 70%.

Wonderful finding the right replacement battery for a laptop. Wish it had a longer battery life. Nevertheless, love being able to continue to use this older laptop (Dell Latitude E6510) that's simply made better than newer models from any brand.

First off, came with NO instructions, had to go online to get it installed/working. Seemed to work OK, then after some time not using computer, tried to start up, battery dead, plugged in, came up with "unrecognized battery", and some other warnings. Took it out, put in original battery, thankfully, computer seems to work OK, didn't seem to damage anything. Lesson learned, stick with original equipment.

Wore out within 2 years, as expected.Neither over performed nor under performed expectations.

This unit arrived professionally packaged in a sturdy brown side opening box with foam inserts to protect the battery. It also came with an information booklet. This is not what I expected for what I paid. I have purchased "cheap" laptop batteries in the same price range as this, and believe me, the packaging they arrived in was nothing like this one.I have had the battery for about three months now and can not find anything negative to say about it. I followed the charging directions and it has performed flawlessly ever since.If you want your laptop battery to have the same manufacturer logo as your laptop, expect to pay an additional $40 USD for that logo. Otherwise I can not tell the difference.

The media could not be loaded.

Not very easy to install (doesn't align perfectly and need to use elbow grease to SNAP on) but once it's installed then you got some power baby. Yeah!! I needed to replace my battery long ago and this was the perfect replacement.

I am getting much better quality batteries and perfect fits on aftermarket batteries on amazon than the junk I was getting off ebay; this extended life is better than OEM
