Delta Children Capri 3-in-1 Convertible Baby Crib, Grey

UPDATE: crib is still great 3 1/2 years and 2 kids later! Save money by getting this crib, then splurge on a comfy rocking chair.I'm 35 weeks along and my husband and I just assembled the Delta Capri crib in preparation for the arrival of our first child next month. Overall, I'm really happy with the purchase. I love that the design is simple, but it has a little bit of character with the arches on the crib sides. The crib is very sturdy and feels solid. It doesn't wobble at all if you shake the frame (something I was worried about based on the price). There are some very minor imperfections in the finish, but only things you would notice very close up like a small indent in the wood. The  Safety 1st Heavenly Dreams White Crib Mattress  fits perfectly. I wouldn't say I'm on a tight baby budget, but I really can't see myself spending much more on a crib.Packaging: None of the crib pieces were damaged. All the necessary pieces and hardware were included and everything was labeled very well. Arrived with only minor bumps on the outside cardboard. The box itself is quite large and awkward to carry because there are no handles. Inside the box was ample Styrofoam and other padding for protection.Assembly: The instructions were very straightforward. We took our time reading the instructions and putting everything together and it took about 90 minutes. I'm sure it could be done much faster - its only 5 pieces after all. One mistake we did make was cutting the instruction envelope off the mattress support piece before reading the outside of the envelope which says to keep it attached. Luckily we had zip ties and were able to fasten the envelope back on. Other than that minor setback, everything went together very easily. There is an Assembly Video on the manufacturer's website (Delta Children) that you might find useful if you are considering purchasing this crib. Once you are finished assembling as a crib, there is one large leftover piece - a stabilizer bar to be used if you convert it to a toddler bed. I find it a little annoying that I have to store this piece yet it didn't come with the toddler rail itself.

We immediately used this for a toddler bed so I cannot give a review for an infant or baby. We did not buy the extra rail due to not thinking it would cover enough space on the side. We bought a different rail and love it as it only provides an exit hole area and attaches to the spring assembly under the bed to the other side (pic attached). The bed is sturdy and looks as advertised. It is white with a little design to the end. Not straight across. Very pleased with this crib for our need.

Bought the crib for when my Granddaughter comes over. It's perfect! This is what I was looking for. The crib was easy to put together. My daughter and I put it together in less than a half hour. Easy instructions and made well! Love the classic white and the simplistic design! Very reasonably priced and I also purchased the mattress (Safety 1st Heavenly Dreams) as well on Amazon! I would recommend both the crib and the mattress!

This is how the carton arrived. We have not had time to open it for assembly. I am hoping all is in there and not damaged. Will update. Finally, we had time to take the carton apart. Everything was there. Assembly was easy and the crib is beautiful. Don’t worry I am removing the bumpers, before inserting the baby.

Simple enough to put together (12 screws and 20 minutes for my husband and I). Feels secure, although the wood feels like it will end up with teething marks. The top placement isn’t very high, but with a 6” mattress it should be fine (picture next to car seat for reference). For the price, it’s a nice looking crib that I feel will keep our baby safe.

Nice inexpensive crib for my grand daughter to use in our home -- looks more expensive than it is. Very sturdy and was easy to put together (husband did it by himself and with no issues). I do wish the crib had wheels for easy moving but it isn't to heavy when i need to move out of the way on days when grand baby not with us.

Every child begins to naw at the railing once they get teeth. This crib cannot withstand the earliest of efforts by our 11 month old. My wife walked in on my child covered on his entire face with paint flecks. I invite the seller to respond.

WE LOVE IT! It is perfect for our little one. Was not missing any pieces like it’s stated in other reviews. It was easy to assemble and it was not too heavy for me to carry the box at 22 weeks pregnant. Big enough for our son to crawl around and the paint is good too.
