Carbon Brushes Electric Motor for Power Tools - 11mm x 4mm x 4mm - 20pcs

These worked on my black and decker blower as well as my cummins angle grinder. Had to trim the brass part for better fit but it was an easy fix. The carbon part fit perfectly. Make sure you choose the right size.

I replaced the brushes on a 45 year-old Black and Decker drill with these. They're not a direct replacement, but reconfiguring them to fit was easy. The original brushes didn't have attached wires, and were somewhat shorter than these. So I cut off the wire, and hacksawed the brushes to shorten them to fit the brush holders. That length was, perhaps, 1/4 inch longer than the worn-out original brushes that weren't fully contacting the motor commutator. That caused sparking and stalling of the motor. New brushes...faultless !

After some modification these brushes resurrected two of my 4.5 inch grinders

Replaced the brushes in a 2011 BMW 335i convertible, these brushes fit very well and saved alot of money over replacing the entire motor.

Would not fit

A little back story; I have a 1/4 sheet corded sander that I was using one day when it started to sound like a cordless sander when the battery is almost completely discharged. When I turned it on the next time about 30 seconds later, it wouldn't run. It's not that old, but it is out of warranty, so I disassembled it to find one of the carbon brushes almost worn out while the other one still looked like new. I switched the position of the brushes, reassembled the sander, turned it on, and it ran like new again. The OE parts are no longer available, so I measured them and then performed a search to find replacements. I found these that are the size that I needed, so I purchased them so that I have replacements available if, or rather when this happens again. I did disassemble the sander to verify that they were they correct size since they looked smaller that what I remembered the size of the original brushes to be. I then removed one brush to install one of these in its place, and it fit perfectly. I now have plenty of replacements to extend the life of my sander.

Not much to say about carbon brushes. Table saw works perfectly with these replacements, can't say about the durability yet, but with 10 sets for that price it does not really matter that much.
