Emerald Berry Blend Premium Trail Mix, 5.5-Ounce Pouches (Pack of 6)

I am home bound and keep my homemade granola handy in case I get hungry while stuck for hours in one spot. Course I would love to load it up with mini dark chocolate chips, and I do. But I also "dilute" it with raisins, dried fruit and things that have greater health benefit than chocolate (hard to imagine, I know.) This tropical blend is my favorite add-in. Plenty of fruit, whole grains and coconut and actually delicious all by itself. When I toss it in my homemade granola, then I can tell myself that each handful has fewer nuts and chocolate pieces, more nutritious and lower calorie pieces, at is at least equally delicious and better for me. That's a comfort and it may even be true! I've tried lots of tropical blends. This one is my favorite. The chunks are not small and it mixes in easily. In the end I have not only a terrific granola but also the best topping to cereal and especially yogurt that I've ever made. Alone or mixed in, this one is the best. It's not the cheapest, but it is the best. Enjoy!

I like this product. I'm a non-trad full-time nursing student and I need all the health(ier) food/convenience that I can get. This is great to measure out into baggies and then, poof! Instant meal/snack on the go out of my backpack. The breakfast blend kinda has a cinnamon/spice overtone to it, and it IS sweet.Good Stuff, glad to get a much better deal on it here on Amazon, and the BERRY blend is even better. (The Berry blend is my fav.)

I have been trying some other mixes. But their taste isn't there so i always come around to buying this again. I just wish this came in a smaller package such as for 1 serving. Once I open this large package that has 6 or 9 servings, I will eat it in one sitting. I have resorted to sharing with co-workers who gladly partake because it is that good.

good value for your money, but the taste is not strong enough... pineapples and bananas have no taste at all. Overall, i dont see much difference between those and eating plain granola with a few nuts. the Tropical Mix sold at walmart is MUCH tastier. it is not cheap but the chunks are bigger and have a strong taste. pineapples, apricots, bananas, macadamia, raisins...make them very tasty. i dont remember the brand name at walmart, but the bags are green and look similar to those (they are not the new white Great Value ones which i havent tasted).

Love this blend and wish I could buy it locally. My favorite part is the glazed walnuts. I would buy just the glazed walnuts but the price is higher and I do like the variety of ingredients in this as well. I used to nibble on individual bits but discovered how good the ingredients tasted together in one bite. Unfortunately though, you may eat the whole bag in one sitting but it's better than a bag of chips.

I tasted this at a conference once about a year ago-could not find it anywhere when I got home. I finally tracked it down and bought a box of it on Amazon. It is soooo good. Cranberry, glazed almonds, yogurt covered raisins, and a whole lot of DELISH. I recommend this to anyone that wants a snack that is a little different from the norm. Also, don't be intimidated that there are so many pouches, trust me, you will eat them! They make a great little gift to leave on someone's desk too. :-)

Taste is pretty good. Very disappointed, however, with the expiration date. Ordered in August, product sent had expiration of September 2015 Didn't notice this right off. Also ordered Emerald Breakfast Blend that had an expiration of May 2016, which is good. Now I'm not going to die eating this later in the fall (I don't think), but they should be sending fresher stuff when buying a six pack.
