Use them with electronic earmuffs for best results.
Bottom-Line Up Front: For around $130, they can't be beat as indoor electronic hearing protection when coupled with electronic earmuffs. If you're looking for the highest-rated electronic ear protection under $200, this is it.Problem: I do the great majority of my shooting indoors, so hearing protection is incredibly important. I own a pair of Howard Leight Impact Pro earmuffs, which have a NRR of 30 - the highest I've found for electronic earmuffs. However even with those monster muffs on, I still found my ears ringing after a couple hours of indoor range time next to a guy shooting his AR. I tried putting foam earplugs on underneath the Impact Pros -- great combined noise reduction, but the earplugs ended up blocking out the speakers of the Impact Pros too.Solution: The Walker's Silencer R600s are some of the lowest-cost rechargeable electronic earbuds available. With an NRR of 26, they are on par or better than most electronic earmuffs out there. They also fit well underneath the HL Impact Pros for excellent combined noise reduction while still being able to hear conversations around you. You can get the HL Impact Sport for about $40 or the Impact Pro for about $55 nowadays, so for a combined cost of under $200, I believe this to be the best electronic hearing protection solution available right now.Flaws: I would never consider using them alone without electronic earmuffs. Indoors, there just wouldn't be enough protection unless you're shooting .22s or suppressed small caliber pistols. Outdoors, they're much too susceptible to wind noise. To counteract these flaws, always use electronic muffs over them.Extra Features: The carrying case is very useful. It doubles as a portable charger for the R600s and according to the manual, can provide 4 full charges before needing to be recharged itself. It's also magnetic to help set the plugs into the charging ports correctly.I'll be updating this review if anything goes wrong with them. They've exceeded my expectations so far.

New Product, Works Great!
These just came out mid December 2018, but the specs of these versus the original silencers made me order. Having rechargeable batteries instead of the #10 hearing aid batteries was a great choice. I did not need the bluetooth capability of the next model up so i saved myself a bit of money getting these instead. Let me tell you, they work great! Shooting pistols or large bore rifles, these keep the sound comfortable without getting in the way. In fact i forgot they were in my ears. I had them under my hat too and did not have any noise from rubbing on the hat. Best of all once you are done, just pop them in the case and they recharge for next time. Great product so far, very happy with them.

Probably Best Option under $200
I have used these 2 or 3 times now at the shotgun range and they work well for ear protection. Have not tried them for rifles or pistols. I also have the Walker's Razor and Axil Ghoststryke earbuds. The main benefit to me on these Walkers is the rechargeable feature, I have only charged the case once so far and the earbuds are still going well. The suppression is good but the quality of the enhancement is not great, I can hear most things just fine but there is a bit of static on top of the sound, especially voices. Its slight but definitely noticeable, seems to be worse the louder they are turned up.I would say the sound quality is best on the Axil's but the suppression is better on the Walker's. The rechargeable Walker's version is far better than my other two pairs. The batteries on those need to be replaced each time. From other info I found online, it sounds like those little hearing aid batteries discharge from the moment you pull the tab off the back, even when they are not being used. I dont know if that is correct but the batteries are always dead when I go to use them. So this rechargeable version is so much better than dealing with those little batteries all the time!

Great Clarity, but wind noise slightly present
I shoot handguns competitively and I use these for my matches. I was very tired of having the traditional earmuffs bothering my ears when worn for 3-4 hours at a time. These are very comfortable for prolonged wear. The sound protection is surprisingly great and the electronic portion makes speach sound very clear. The only downside is that on windy days, the wind is slightly amplified. Overall, great product, especially for the pricepoint.

Won't charge
I purchased a set of these awhile back and they work great. I was so impressed that I bought this set for my wife for her birthday. She tried to used them for the first time last weekend and they wouldn't turn on. After some checking (buds, charging case, charging cable) I determined that the problem was with the buds themselves. They simply won't charge. I tried to reach out to the vendor to get them replaced, but apparently because it was a week after the return date they didn't feel that they even needed to respond to my message-I've had no response from them at all. So I really want to recommend these, but I definitely can't recommend getting them from this vendor. If I ever hear from them I will update this post accordingly.

Walker Acoustic Ear Plugs
I purchased these on October 5, 2020. It is now September 10, 2022. I shoot an average of one time a week. By the spring of 2021, the foam tips had worn out and I could hear the report of my shotgun much louder than I should. I called customer service to buy replacements. The warranty was up after 1 year and they did not have any replacement foam tips. I used the next size tip that was provided and just pushed it in harder in an attempt to stop the noise. By the end of August 2022 (22 months), the rubber cap came off the the outside of the left ear and it was impossible to replace. I called "customer support" again and was on hold for over an hour - then gave up. I paid $160.50 for the earplugs which comes out to over $7 per use. A lot of wind noise, no customer support, and a handful of junk remaining that is unsaleable. Went back to my Decibullz moulded plugs that have a higher noise reduction and don't fall apart. I do not recommend you waste your money on Walker's.

Bon achat
