As advertised and appear to be a 300 series stainless.
Checked with a magnet- not magnetic, beyond that induced by cold work from forming the screw. Even that is almost imperceptible. Appears to be a good product.Installation tip-- there are several comments about these being soft and easy to strip out. Well, they are. But that is their nature. It is not a defect. These are 300 series stainless steel. This material is used for its corrosion resistance, not its strength. They cannot be hardened like tool steels, or other high strength steels. They are intentionally sold in their softest (annealed) condition because that is where the corrosion resistance is at its best. So pilot drill your holes, and press hard on the driver and make sure your driver is not tipped off at an angle when driving. If you use a drill, set the torque limiter to the minimum necessary for your set up (test it in a scrap piece!). With this size stainless screw, most electric drills can rip the heads right off if over torqued. And if you tip off at an angle, you can easily strip the head. So I hope this helps. Good luck!

Nice Big Head and Easy to Screw
We did not need to predrill a hole to put these into pressure treated lumber. These screws are on a dock and we screwed them through rubber prior to going into the pressure treated lumber. They have a nice big head that helped hold the dock edging material down. They are nice and shiny. The price I paid was the best price I could find for this size. Out of the 80 screws I had one screw that was not machined properly and I could not screw it in. I dropped several in the water and because they are so shiny I was able to dive in and retrieve them. The only issue I had was that the pan head is bigger than the opening on the drill bit extender sleeve. They are not magnetic so they can drop easily. For what I was doing we needed the pan head.

Ok if you're careful
I am using these screws to install a bumper on dock pilings, and I have used about 50 so far. What I learned is to drill a pilot hole with a 9/64 bit and go slow and be gentle screwing them in. I started with a 1/8 bit, but after stripping a screw, I switched and had much better results. I came close to stripping many of the screws (not sure that I could get them back out), but I got them in. Time will tell how they hold up. I am a bit skeptical of the quality because they are slightly magnetic.

Very well made only time will tell if they are as good as I think they will be.
