Good value if not best quality
Although I'd read other poor. Reviews for this item I've used it for tapping stainless steel with no problem. It's true you could buy better quality items, but considering the price of the item I am pleased with how it functions. Just make sure that you have the setting on the position selector correct otherwise you start to unscrew the front come assembly.

This is a great product for the price
This is a great product for the price.It is solid piece of kit and it solved a problem for me working in confined space,paid for itself already,the ratchet mechanism works better after a drop of WD40 and is very useful for what I needed it for. Good delivery and good value for money.

the only others that look better ( and different ) seem to range from £20 ...
It arrived not working, the ratchet mechanism was faulty, though, as it was taped to the backing card this could be more to do with the supplier than the manufacturer Am tech products tend to be lower end of the market but do usually perform ok for the price. if you search for these tap wrench they all look identical but carry various brand names,I guess one maker is supplying them all. the only others that look better ( and different ) seem to range from £20 up which was more than I wanted to pay,
